Can confirm that this does not work. Tryed something similar to this. Sure, the enemies can't rly get to the resonator but they attack your base and destroy everything. Even with a clear path to the resonator.
Does they attack the pillar? I’m planned to do the first floor with nothing but pillar so the deviant have a clear path, the kill spot I’ll just let the resonator on ground floor so they won’t attack my base
Doing the same thing over here lol maybe it would be much easier if you had used the Flight Mode to show the house from a higher view. Then it would be better to understand some parts of the structure haha
If you use pillars on the outside layer of the middle triangles you can fill the gaps in, you can also use small triangles to make a platform through the middle of the stairs at the top
"Best" Would be a shame if the enemies just stop pathfinding to the purifier and attack your main house instead. Because mine do that all the time, even if the purifier is standing in the open.
@@bradhammond6169 it’s great especially if playing solo. Just move boxes and important stuff to 2nd floor when calling it in. Sometimes they run through the first floor wall
Thinking with some 7 Days to Die horde base building, perhaps put your main base on stilts? Elevate everything so that no matter where they spawn enemies have a direct path towards the resonator without having to smash through other parts of your base, then set up the defense parts like you have, with a single path heavily defended to funnel enemies through.

What did you end up doing? Still haven’t had luck myself with diamond base or separate resonator, umbrellas and others still attack my main stuff 😔

where is the place you build it ? evry water spot i check is to deep and cant build ;)
if you build it on flat ground somewhere else, you can move your base to the water by pressing z in the build menu
