I just started doing this. Are you using double or single thread? If you are doing applique with the edges, when do you take those edge papers out? I appreciate this tutorial because I have to sit some days due to pain, and cannot sit at my machine. The answer, of course, is handwork!! So thanks for this info. I really appreciate it!

Most people use fabric glue for the edges instead
