Ya’ll are sleeping on Terraria characters way too much. Can lift even more than Steve, able to harness the power of stars, and casually farms gods for loot. Also has a progression-centered creative mode.
Superman may be able to defeat many beings, may be immortal, and may have incredible powers, but he was legit beaten by an orphan with money, and can be instantly defeated when you throw a rock at him
Thing is, he's far from fken immortal, plus batman onoy beats him because plot. It'd ironically enough be an ever better point to bring up the alternate universe where batman actually dies to superman and then gigachad alfred comes outta nowhere and avenges him
If you literally just use jewelry in any spots on your body just enough to cover many parts of it, you become the anti-superman guy. Look at that one "Hulk-buster"-like batman mech.
Also, it's been proven now that Steve can carry an infinite quantity of mass in a single water bucket. Which would mean he could just drop infinite amounts of matter, instantly causing some kind of explosion or black whole that would wipe out not only his entire universe, but everything on his current plane of existence. Depending on your view of planes, it's possible that this would destroy _every_ plane of existence, too.
Well, he would drop a 1 meter cube of water, because 1 minecraft block has a length of 1 meter. So I can't really say he would create a black hole or smth.
It's funny how not a lot of people mention the amount of things Steve can do with redstone and command blocks. With redstone, the options are practically limitless, same with command blocks, which, in of it itself, one command block can literally kill everything.
Steve at itself doesn't have access to command_blocks, as they are only obtainable through itself commands(which), are only accessed through the player. In that itself Steve shouldn't count cuz he is not a canon entity in the game (being Minecraft a multiplayer game the "player" is the one that achieves this), and his appearances never have displayed him with such strengths.
@@SniperOnSunday He was saying that Shaggy has unknowingly shown signs of immense strength on the actual Scooby-Doo show, for instance, when he was in the moon he lifted a huge bowler effortlessly that considering the strength of the gravitational pull would be too heavy for any person to lift.
However in multiversus, god shaggy was added to give shaggy a moveset, and may I add, that multiversus in canon is basically the same canon as smash bros, the exact same, not canon to the series in the games
@@SniperOnSunday Also if we aren't counting the games, then kirby breaking down a world in half and steve being able to carry an imesurable ammount of items shouldn't count aswell
I know which character can beat all of the candidates. Henry Stickmin. Henry has the passive ability to be so “lucky” that he is a legitimate being that cannot be killed. Henry also has the active ability to summon any reference from any media, allowing him to have bending arts in metal and earth bending, pull a sword out of nowhere (off screen), and even allow himself to have a stand. The Revenge ending does not count as Henry capable of dying considering that in that route, Henry could only use the items provided with his cybernetics and I see that as a drawback. Also said by RHM, “Spirits” (Stands) are not restricted to cybernetics and RHM and Henry’s cybernetics were made by the same people so Henry’s stand does not count as one of his cybernetics.

And Scrat from ice age, if he had his acorn if he hit the ground as hard as he can with the acorn, the planet would split in half. He literally made a hole all the way to the center of the earth with just the contact between the acorn and the ground. And he also formed the Solar System. On accident. He is also faster than the speed of light as he escapes a black hole meaning he can break the laws of the universe. And he can even come back to life. He once screamed so loud it was heard across the galaxy (maybe even universe) and broke the fourth wall. In real life that would be the equivalent of screaming so loud it’s heard from another universe. He split an entire continent. He drained the largest lake in the world. He has the power of a god.
You all are full of bullshit. I have the true answer which everyone has to agree upon, because it's the fucking objective truth. Most popular omnipotents beings are: The One Above All, The Presence, Anti Spiral etc. Now, let's say you're omnipotent. How powerful are you? You are power. You are beyond the concept of power. Everything that has existed and will exist is you. Anything that can and that will not exist is you. Infact, you are beyond the idea of existence. Nothing exists to you. You exist beyond existence. You don't exist. Everything that exists, exists in you. You are present everywhere. No place can exist without you. You exist in every place that exists, and in every place that does not. Also, not to mention he can bend the laws of reality and create items that god never even thought of (mods). He can shapshift, he can create swords that can destroy the universe, he can create and survive the deadliest monsters and can have overpowered effect by some little potions. You may argue that the potions have nothing to do with Steve. BUT, Steve was the one who had to get all the materials, get a brewing stand, and brew the potion. He also needed a bottle
Wait… Bowser has been defeated countless times by Mario over the years. But wait… Bowser comes back every time, but that means Mario can beat Bowser an infinite amount of times. So, it’s Mario (or Bowser since they always come back). (Edit: Wow this blew up 7 months later Ty yall) (Edit 2: how did this get so popular 8 months btw)
To be fair, Mario never really beat Bowser with his own power and Bowser always holds back extremely severely. Not to mention, it's extremely likely that for whatever reason, Bowser is trying to be defeated.
@@xanderscookingschool1497ou say be Mario doesn’t use his own power, but that sentiment only really apply to the 2D Games in a technical sense. Mario annihilates Bowser in Mario 64 by picking him up and tossing him while he has power stars amping him. In sunshine he only needed FLUDDs 2 abilities to take down a larger version of Bowser and his son using dimensional paint, in Galaxy 2 he was able to launch back his meteors at him (Luma is stated to give Mario his spin attack and survival in deep space according to the manual, so Mario’s strength was his own accord here.) And without possessing them and only using his movement options, he could defeat Bowser in his boss fight AND take on a Lord of Lightning from the ruined kingdom in Odyssey. In my eyes, Mario is very powerful. Not the most in fiction though.
@@TheCreCrethere is no true “omnipotence” in fiction Every character stated to be omnipotent only goes until the edge of the verse’s cosmology, Even if stated with proper context, being stated “omnipotent” won’t mean you’re the strongest Being “omnipotent” won’t really do much in another universe, as omnipotence is an inverse thing Take a verse like Marvel, a character usually considered “omnipotent” is TOAA (The One Above All) TOAA wouldn’t be much in a universe like SCP or Umineko due to those two verses being a lot more complex, even while being stated “omnipotent”
@@Drii1ce sorry for late reply However there is. Let's say, a character is stated to be omnipotent, boundless and the creator of the universe (ToAA actually did that.), which would mean that they are not limited to their verse's cosmology because they literally created it. May I introduce Onore Decade and Waga Maou(Ohma ZI-O) from Kamen Rider Anniversary season (Evil Evolto laugh as watching the fans argue even more after seeing the whole setting of them)
DIO Over Heaven has the ability to overwrite reality and the power to stop time for nine seconds. And he also has a stand that allows him to do those things.
I'd like to introduce Darkstalker from the Wings of Fire series. Specifically in the books 6-10 arc. He is immortal, invulnerable, basically has a healing factor, he can read minds and foresee the future, and is a mountain sized fire breathing dragon. On top of that, he has animus magic that allows him to do pretty much anything except resurrect a dead being (not very helpful in a fight). He's also very intelligent and manipulative.
Survival mode steve alone is capable of carrying quadrillions of tons worth of weight and not be hindered a single bit, and in creative mode he can handle literal infinite weight thanks to NBT copying. With commands he has basically infinite utilities such as deleting someone with a single thought or spawning an explosive to destroy the entire earth. And thanks to creative mode invincibility, they cannot be killed by anything unless someone were to somehow gain his command powers. MAYBE kirby could but then again it depends on what their copy ability for steve would be. Given steve being in smash bros it seems kirby gains access to mining and placing blocks rather than godlike powers so i doubt even kirby could handle steve. He could beat any character in existence in a strength competition and anyone he somehow couldnt he could simply just erase with 2 words.
In the actual kirby games, kirby absorbing someone just kills them. I also think any type of "oh sandbox god mode thing" argument is stupid. The strength of a character should be based on Canon lore. This is also why I find any type of "oh what about this one mod for the game that gives you an instakill weapon" argument to be bs.
Imagine adding the noita, Hoaxe/wasp king, absrad, victini, arceus, the terrarian, the dungeon guardian, junko enoshima, izuru kamakura, the knight, link, most isekai protagonists, samus, the SA-X, the pale king and the main party in headspace (mostly HS kel) to this argument
@@omega97hyper24 most other characters in this fight wouldn’t know how to set up a fight with the dungeon guardian, this means that even though it probably won’t win, it will probably get several kills, especially against foes like the SA-X as it rarely has to use strategy and can normally get by with brute force that won’t be able to kill the DG
0:26 you forgot, completely about ice blocks and water buckets, water buckets can hold literally infinite water, ice blocks have water in them too, and they can also hold infinite water, and there are different phases of ice, (technically) there’s ice, packed ice, and like 20 others that I’m not gonna name, they have water inside of them too, if you have the strongest type of ice, which I do not know the name of, sincere a solid block. They also have more weight than just the water inside of them so Steve can literally hold infinite metric tons of weight and water. Jesus Christ, anyways end of discussion, Steve is the strongest fictional character.
The most powerful fictional character I can remember that isn't a meme character (non-canon) is Dr. Manhattan. He is literally capable of manipulating matter down to the SUBATOMIC level.
i mean yes but actually no. for example, most characters like mario and kirby have a set number of lives and if you use them up, their 'world' gets reset, so basically more of reincarnation (lose everything) rather than respawning (keep your skills, inventory, powers, etc.). Steve is more of respawn case, since while steve loses xp levels (only good for enchanting and you can easily reobtain them), his stuff can be taken back without despawning for 5 min plus you can choose where you want to respawn
Out of all the characters mentioned in this video I'm surprised that Maxwell from Scribblenauts wasn't in here. You ever just see a man witness the death of a universe (specifically the DC universe) and then bring it back to life with a notebook? Nope only Maxwell could do such a thing. Fight me I WILL clap back.
Then why didn't he just write unpetrified on his sister, you're using no limits fallacy. Even if he can replicate characters they don't have their canon power, they just look similar. Also his descriptions have limits as stated before
Magic controls everything in his universe and in the story, it's led to believe that starites was the only way to unpetrify her. But since hes basically a child and never gave it a thought he never tried. If what you're saying is true, is that the entire DC comics universe after the event was introduced had false characters and worlds? Comparing the games too the comics it depends on what it is that's being made for limits and considering that Maxwell can make literal copies of his book that can also create things I think you can say that's out the window. Other than that, Maxwell does have his limits by being a literal human, but he could easily solve that in multiple ways. It's not that he is invincible or that he is ultra powerful. It's that he could be if he chooses to be.
tldr 1. Magic controls everything; so a childlike mindset prevented him from trying. 2. Are you saying post-event DC characters and worlds are false? Maxwell's could make book copies work the same as the original, so nah. 3. Maxwell has limits but can solve them. He's not invincible unless he wants to be.
@@QuartizOG 1. Makes sense 2. I was saying that but also the versions of the characters in scribblenauts are heavily nerfed in comparison to their counterparts so you can't scale them to the same level it's like saying manga a is canonically a manga is manga b so manga b has a higher cosmology. 3. You're using no limits fallacy and his abilities have limits or else he'd just write an adjective on the world and that says problemless
Did none of them consider DIO OVER HEAVEN his literal (non-canon but still possible in the EOH universe) power IS OVERWRITING REALITY in fact he ERASED Funny Valentine From Existence (and the only thing that killed him is plot armor)
I suggest the following: Frisk/Chara/Flowey They all have the ability to reset to a point in time before a fight, even if they die, allowing them to also learn and counter their opponents attacks. They also have the advantage of being able to attack someone’s soul, which is the very essence of their existence, since other characters don’t refer to their souls, that means they are unaware of it’s existence, proving that they have no physical way to prevent attacks directed to their soul.
"smash bros allows just any character to beat kirby up" me being a kirby main: if you cant beat em, eat em, dont swallow until youve thrown yourself off the map

POV: people don’t realize (confirmed by devs) that kratos *does* indeed have infinite power, it’s just that his power matches his opponents, therefore making him seem weak to many offenders, however, he is truly as powerful as powerful gets, *therefore* (jesus christ) making wright, right! *HOLD IT* Flowey looses this ability when Frisk enters the underground, and only regains it upon absorbing the human souls. @untrollquifaitdesblaguessa1048 then again, you have steve. the most determined character, who doesn't even need to be determined. have you seen the amazing things he as created through players? all of that comes from determination...

Steve is hands down most powerful. He can technically carry near-infinite weight, teleports between dimensions, can CREATE INFINITE WORLDS WITH INFINITE TERRAIN (you can create as many worlds as you want depending on ur computer memory and each world is basically infinite as you can travel as far as you want and the world will still continue), creative mode is the most op thing ever, he can REVERSE GRAVITY (punching trees doesn't even make them fall), and he has access to basically limitless mods from the community that can boost him in any way possible. I mean, one of Minecraft's main features is literally community-created mods, so you can't say 'oOoOh KrAtOs hAs mOdS tOo' bc it's not really that much used compared to minecraft mods. Plus steve can respawn without losing anything. If kirby dies for ex, they lose a life and when all lives are lost, they have to start over (reincarnation ig, but without any progress or worlds left so basically true death) I'd say second is kirby, maybe even tying with steve. because kirby.

we are low-balling everyone because in this fight, every video media contester is set to a "fair state". This would make it unfair on them because all the video game media characters don't get nerfed so lets say we low-ball steve and all the other video game characters to their hardest difficulty. for instance, if V1 was added to the list of competitors then they would be very easy to kill and it would be very hard to kill people. this means that steve does not have access to creative mode and is stuck in hardcore survival, where he cannot respawn and a number of factors go outside of steve's favor (i.e hunger).
@@Jamiroquai_real_ how is that fair lol literally every single videogame character can respawn, plus anyway even if steve "dies" he can still carry a near-infinite amount of stuff, plus he can technically still live forever, and even if he dies in hardcore mode (which is unfair compared to literally any other character btw), he can still create a NEW UNIVERSE

I think it gotta be kirballs. Not only has kirby killed many gods, turn into a supernova or send a guy into the depths of hell, he can also copy many abilities. This means that if kirby fights againts steve, he can just claim his inventory, strengh, speed and death detonation alongside infinite flight and sucking (don't take out of context). He can also swallow superman giving him X ray, heath vision, and flight with swallowing and no vulnerability to kriptonite. He could also swallow Kratos and get even more strengh than he has already. and in the process, *he kills them*
How about Terrarian from Terraria? Not only can he hold more weight than Steve, killed Cthulhu’s cousin and fought other great beings. But respawning in Terraria is technically canon due to a quote from the Nurse saying how many times you died (even making jokes about it)

Actually it is Peppino Spaghetti. Steve… is weird, to say the least. Sure he can carry shulker boxes upon shulker boxes worth of gold, or a near infinite amount of water collected in one bucket, but at the same time, he can easily die to falling off cliffs, being exploded, even getting hit by two or three harming tipped arrows etc. he’s probably the only character brought up that can die in such a variety of ways, in spite of his strength
I’d personally argue Saiki K for this one, he’s able to mind control the whole universe, carry planes, destroy islands, literally change the weather, erase people’s memories, and a bunch of other stuff and that’s only with his limiters. Imagine without his limiters, he has rewound time, stopped volcanoes, etc. That teen is so overpowered it’s unbelievable yet ofc he doesn’t get acknowledged as much since he is from a comedy anime.
*OBJECTION!* What about Lord Voldemort? He is clarified as the most powerful dark wizard of the time taking place throughout the 'Harry Potter' series. He has the most powerful wand (The Elder Wand) and has hundreds of supporters for his actions of crime. Voldemort is a very Criminally person. And therefore i state that Voldemort might be the most powerful fictional character. *{insert Phoenix drinking coffee}*
The-One-Above-All, SCP 682, and all the people who can control time watching from the 1293th dimension: Edit: SCP 682 wins no matter what, and they tried eliminating it with a time-warping entity to stop it from ever existing but it just survived somehow, it literally rewrote itself into existance from nothing and can take on the capabilities of anything that tries to harm it. It cannot, will not, and was never able to die. SCP 682 is on some lists but definitely deserves top spot because it is so insanely OP that it is objectively unfair.
SCP-682 is extremely weak compared to some other SCPs. For example, SCP-001, S Andrew Swann's Proposal (and SCP-5999, I won't explain it but you can read it for yourself). Long story short, the reason to SCPs even existing, and anomalies being present, is due to a God of sorts. And that god? It's us. To simplify things for you, imagine a tower with infinite floors. Each floor is a separate universe, a narrative. From top to bottom. Each floor is on a higher plain of narritive than the below floors, and therefore are the "gods" of the floors beneath. We are at the very top of that infinitely tall tower, we control EVERYTHING below us, there are no floors that we cannot control or twist to our liking. The One Above All, cannot beat this. As "they" are limited and cannot control to the same extent we can, as they are still a floor below us. They are NOT us. There is also SCP-3812, which could easily defeat 682 without trouble, as he exists on a higher floor than the SCP Fountation. SCP-3812 isn't a reality warper, they are above that in every way. There's also SCP-2747, but this comment is already too long. All in all, SCP-682 isn't the strongest, no clue where you got that from.
Superman is actually have an incredible power, bcz in comics he showed such abilities, strength and other that makes him a worthy opponent to Kirby of Kratos
Also, Steve is in the minecraft world and has access to Operator commands where he can just /kill any character, or just give himself resistance 5 making him invincible, also, he can use the /tp command to teleport from any distance to any other distance in 1 tick (1/20th of a second) so if he teleports from the bottom left corner to the top right corner making him have the speed of 6x the speed of light and if something reaches the speed of light it gets infinite mass and infinite mass means infinite force, he can also control time with the command /time and can freeze time with the new /tick freeze command, thus, making him the most powerful.
I have one that can beat them all. Five. Pebbles. From Rain World. This man can murder the player in a instant with a simple laser, and has survived through turbocancer!

He can carry shulkers full of items until the depth tag limit and he can control the weather with commands. meaning while carrying shulkers filled with blue ice with 64 in one slot until the depth tag limit, he can carry nearly infinite pounds

Depending on your view of planes, it's possible that this would destroy _every_ plane of existence, too.
Well, he would drop a 1 meter cube of water, because 1 minecraft block has a length of 1 meter. So I can't really say he would create a black hole or smth.

Steve at itself doesn't have access to command_blocks, as they are only obtainable through itself commands(which), are only accessed through the player. The Revenge ending does not count as Henry capable of dying considering that in that route, Henry could only use the items provided with his cybernetics and I see that as a drawback. You all are full of bullshit. I have the true answer which everyone has to agree upon, because it's the fucking objective truth.
In all of fiction, there is no singular most powerful beings, however there are multiple at the same level which is literally impossible to exist. I.e, omnipotence. A supreme godfather being which is said to omnipotent is stronger than any other character in existence.
If something does not exist, you exist in it. If you don't exist in something, it's not real. If it's not real you exist in it. You know everything, you are everything. Everything that can happen, has happend, could have happend, is happening, will happen and can happen is you. You know everything. If you want something, you will get it, though you will not want anything, because you are already everything. Nothing affects you. Everything affects you. Everything happens because you make it happen. What doesn't happen is because you don't make it happen. You are what has ever existed, what is ever existing and whatever will ever exist. If two such entities were to fight, the fight would last forever. One can literally NOT be beyond omnipotence. Two omnipotent beings fighting wouldn't be a cool fight with all sorts of cool attacks and blocks, it will exist beyond existence. We literally wouldn't know how it would happen, or what would happen.
Now, you might have not understood most of the things I said, that is because you're not supposed to. Omnipotence is a concept beyond humans. We cannot understand it. NOTHING can be stronger or beyond omnipotence, only omnipotence can be.

@@xanderscookingschool1497ou say be Mario doesn’t use his own power, but that sentiment only really apply to the 2D Games in a technical sense. Mario annihilates Bowser in Mario 64 by picking him up and tossing him while he has power stars amping him. In sunshine he only needed FLUDDs 2 abilities to take down a larger version of Bowser and his son using dimensional paint, in Galaxy 2 he was able to launch back his meteors at him (Luma is stated to give Mario his spin attack and survival in deep space according to the manual, so Mario’s strength was his own accord here.) @@TheCreCrethere is no true “omnipotence” in fiction
Every character stated to be omnipotent only goes until the edge of the verse’s cosmology,
Even if stated with proper context, being stated “omnipotent” won’t mean you’re the strongest

Other than that, Maxwell does have his limits by being a literal human, but he could easily solve that in multiple ways. It's not that he is invincible or that he is ultra powerful. It's that he could be if he chooses to be.
tldr
Makes sense

I suggest the following:
Frisk/Chara/Flowey
They all have the ability to reset to a point in time before a fight, even if they die, allowing them to also learn and counter their opponents attacks. They also have the advantage of being able to attack someone’s soul, which is the very essence of their existence, since other characters don’t refer to their souls, that means they are unaware of it’s existence, proving that they have no physical way to prevent attacks directed to their soul.

It has been 1 year since this great debate. The world is still on fire due to the aftermath.
Flowey is the most powerful, he is undefeatable if the souls didn't revolted during the fight. Even in flower form, he has the ability to escape death and try as much as he wants. It all comes through the power of DETERMINATION
Cant you just torn him from the ground when he is just a flower? Once Frisk (player) entered the underground, he lost his ability to save and load. Its just the matter of when fight will happen, and its most likely that its gonna happen after the events of Undertale.
*HOLD IT*
Flowey looses this ability when Frisk enters the underground, and only regains it upon absorbing the human souls. In the main game, Flowey is significantly outclassed by almost every major character, resorting to trickery to win. It would be more accurate to say Frisk on a Genocide run is the most powerful.
was gonna say this
@untrollquifaitdesblaguessa1048 then again, you have steve. the most determined character, who doesn't even need to be determined. have you seen the amazing things he as created through players? all of that comes from determination...

If kirby dies for ex, they lose a life and when all lives are lost, they have to start over (reincarnation ig, but without any progress or worlds left so basically true death)
I'd say second is kirby, maybe even tying with steve. because kirby.
@@BFDl3 i mean then u can argue that kirby isn't starting a new game or swallowing stuff, it's the player! really at this point then its more of "the player is the most powerful character ever" which is techincally true bc we can make these so-called gods like steve and kirby DANCE TO OUR WILL MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH THEY ARE PUPPETS ON MY STRINGS DAAAANCE TO MY TUNE MUAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA
bascially all characters are controlled by the player
we are low-balling everyone because in this fight, every video media contester is set to a "fair state".
@@fishnotfosh *note: a reply on this comment already debunks your theory that Steve creates worlds/universes. Actually, it is never shown that Steve/your character ever creates such worlds/universes.
@@Jamiroquai_real_ and it's not shown that literally any other character that you can think of are actually characters, they are actually mental constructs created by engineers, as i said, you can literally "debunk" every single character of having and powers whatsoever with ur logic, so your point is moot :)

How about Terrarian from Terraria? Not only can he hold more weight than Steve, killed Cthulhu’s cousin and fought other great beings. But respawning in Terraria is technically canon due to a quote from the Nurse saying how many times you died (even making jokes about it)
Steve can carry infinite weight because you can fill a shulker with e-chests, fill an e-chest with shulkers and fill your inventory with e-chests.
But yeah, compared to survival steve, Terrarian seems op
steves heviest block is gold, which is made of 9 Ingots gained from smelting Ores which only are made up of 1/9th being the Resourse and 8/9th stone
The terrarian has access to Platinum ores, which the block is 100% of the ore, about 11% heavier then gold, and can carry stacks of 9999 of it while also haveing larger amount of inventory slots
Heck he can turn 4 Blocks of platinum into a Bar, then turn 30 of those into a throne, which would mean 120 times the weight of a single block,
So 1 stack of Thrones would be 1,199,880 Ores/Blocks, more then twice how much Gold Steve can carry with his Full inventory and armor

The-One-Above-All, SCP 682, and all the people who can control time watching from the 1293th dimension:
Edit: SCP 682 wins no matter what, and they tried eliminating it with a time-warping entity to stop it from ever existing but it just survived somehow, it literally rewrote itself into existance from nothing and can take on the capabilities of anything that tries to harm it.

He can carry shulkers full of items until the depth tag limit and he can control the weather with commands. meaning while carrying shulkers filled with blue ice with 64 in one slot until the depth tag limit, he can carry nearly infinite pounds
