I just had a new system put in, and I moved it to the side of the house. I'm glad it's out of the backyard, but not happy that it's visible from the street. Your project just gave me the inspiration and motivation to clean that area up!
Looks good brother! Thanks for the video and the details. You must be here in Ohio according to your hoodies! Bucks & Bengals! Sending an “O-H!” & “WHO DEY!”
Wow. Fantastic build! Something similar would be perfect in our backyard. But, can I ask how the HVAC guy can get to that unit to service it? Can you install a gate or something so someone can get back there?
@Josh Allen Builds is correct. Most units require a minimum 4ft of open air/space above the unit to dissipate heat. Without it, the heat will recirculate back into the coils and the unit is basically working twice as hard to remove said heat. Slashes the units lifespan quite a bit

Great job
What size planks are you using for the louvers
Love the louvre. Takes more time but worth it
BEAUTIFUL JOB!!!!!!!!
Nice job!
Amazing work
I heard you’re supposed to do a 2 foot clearance around the unit

Great job thanks for sharing
Good job.
great job!
looks great
a beveled edge, even sharper, would be good on the inside to promote laminar flow in the area where the fan discharges in front. otherwise great job!

These are all panels. I unscrew them and it’s really easy to service 👍🏼
You could also set some PVC ports in the ground and in the wood to slide the wall panels in for quick easy removal
If it doesn't totally keep the snow off...what is the point other than looking good?
Good aesthetics are very important if you are a serious homeowner.
did you notice any noise reduction in the compressor noise?
beautiful
🔥🔥🔥
Where's the lid man?
Placing a top disrupts the laminar air flow of the condenser which will shorten the lifespan of the unit.

Nice but problematic cleaning the condenser coil fins which should be done annually. I would have left one side open.
He said that the cover is completely removable. Lift away...I guess.
he did mention it was removable, but I'd like to see it.
The biggest questions its how to clean this outdoor if you cover all 😅
looks great
