OK. That's the top cut. How do you cut the width because no doors in my house are 30" or 28" exactly

But how much clearance do you leave between the door and floor, and between the door and sides? This is the information I seek.
For interior door the gap should be between ¾ to ½ of an inch, depending on the type of floor you have. The gap at the bottom of an exterior door should be almost nonexistent.

If you cut the top, don’t you have to re-locate all the hinges?
No because this is a new door that I bought after I remodel my bathroom and put tile on floor. The get rid of the old door. You are correct if it was the old door. I also place a video of how to cut and install the hinges on this new door.

I can see this working if you buy a new slab and install your own hinges. For a prehung door, the cut would need to be at the bottom since it already comes with hinges installed.
Do it yourself properly. Cut on buckets.
