Did it occur to you that there's ACTUALLY a reason why Erza was able to stop them both? I'll break it down for you since apparently you can't put 2 and 2 together and just want to hate on things. 1. People's REACTIONS and instincts are WAY faster then processed thoughts. IE, as a Martial Artist, sure, accidents can happen, but during a fight, my body and instinct will react if something goes wrong WAY faster then my mind can. For example, during a "Kata" with weapons that require a partner, if a block SHOULD happen and doesn't, I'll instinctively pull the power behind my attack without realizing what I'm doing. This is true for REAL LIFE, no reason it can't apply to Anime as well. 2. "Full power attack." Big assumption there. Build up for something doesn't mean its a "full power" attack, ESPECIALLY in regards to Natsu. Even Lightning Fire Dragon Roar Natsu fired off in less then 10 seconds, and it was one of the most powerful attacks ANYONE had seen up to that date in the series. Secondly, We know Natsu is actually in there somewhere. Yes, E.N.D wants to kill Zeref and nothing else. So does Natsu. However, he TRIED to get Gray to back down. Natsu's in there somewhere, and absolutely wouldn't want to kill Gray. Meaning Natsu is likely holding back his strikes. Gray is also being influenced by his Demon Slaying Magic here. Do you really think after all this time, Gray would just go "Yep, gonna kill someone who means Everything to the Guild." Gray even says that "Without Natsu, Fairy Tail just wouldn't make sense." It goes directly contrary to everything we know about how Gray feels about Guildmates. About FAMILY. They made a BIG deal when Gray first got his ice demon slayer that it was affecting him, and was taking him over. They stopped it, but how do you think that Magic would react when suddenly confronted with E.N.D, ESPECIALLY after loosing Juvia? 3. We KNOW their holding back quite a bit. In Fairy Tail, blood is almost NEVER shown on screen. In fact, the only time I can think it was actually shown during an attack was when Future Lucy was murdered by Future Rouge. So, during battles, how is wear and tear shown? How is battle damage shown? Lines and "scuff marks". Yet BOTH Natsu and Gray look the same at the start of the Fight as they do when Erza stopped their punches. What does that tell you? THEY ARE NOT HURTING EACH OTHER. Not enough to cause any outside physical appearances anyways. Conclusion. So what's happening here. I think Natsu is fighting Desperately against E.N.D, trying to come back. However they have a shared, vested interest in stopping Zeref. That allows E.N.D to stay in control. Gray confronts Natsu after loosing Juvia, when he's probably at his most unbalanced since loosing Ur. Que Ice Demon Slayer magic to manifest and urge him into combat. To do WHAT it was created to do. KILL E.N.D. Remember, Gray's dad Created that magic to kill Demons, and E.N.D would be radiating that evil curse power. They go at it, both of their subconcious's fighting against the magic/curse influencing them, and then Insert Erza. The Erza that they obey Instantly when she's pissed. The Erza who Natsu flew into a RAGE because someone made her Cry. And here she appears, between their attacks, crying. Natsu would have been stopped Dead in his tracks, and Gray not much further past. With all those facts taken in, is it REALLY so suprising that Erza wasn't killed by those attacks?
@@sapherno11 nothing but factsbut you forgot reason number 5…….. SHE’S MOTHERFUCKING ERZAAAAAAAAAAAAAA But in all seriousness this gave me a new perspective on how I see this fight as a whole. Now do I agree with everything like them a lot holding back because they wasn’t showing any blood and stuff? No. But I do agree with like 97%. But personally I just like idea that Erza’s resolve and LOVE for her family overcomes END and the Demon Slayer Hatred that influence the two. This is an anime where having strong emotions toward make you more powerful and surpass your limits. And fighting for Family and bonds is more emotionally powerful than fighting for hatred. (And it not out of place for Ezra to be doing this cause she got crazy feats from the last arc) But then agree and can see your prediction of it.
A part of me wanted Natsu to kill Grey, this conflict had beem building up since Natsu was discovered to be END,i was disappointed to see Erza stop them, because i felt like it cheapened the impact of their fight for it to end with neither of them dead or at least severely wounded,as in crippled for life Gildarts style...

This fight made no sense man, buildup was non existent, crappy reasons for the fight to start, and it accomplished nothing, most pointless fight in the show
As much as I enjoyed this fight, it also feels like one of the most unnecessary fights in all of Fairytail, mostly coming from Grey's side of things. I get he was feeling emotional for the moment and was trying to vent his frustrations out on Natsu because he was looking to kill at least someone, but he learned that if Zeref dies, Natsu would also die and the war would have probably ended so..... yeah. And then if you try to flip it and claim Grey was fighting Natsu to stop Natsu..... which quickly vanishes as soon as the fight begins, considering Grey was damn near about to try and kill Natsu and die as well..... its like..... what was his end goal here? Kill Natsu out of frustration or kill Natsu to stop Natsu? Good thing he's a dumbass teenage boy, otherwise this would have me rolling my eyes.
Gray's goal was to kill E.N.D so hearing Natsu was E.N.D that triggered something, which clouded his friendship with Natsu. Natsu clouded by Lucy's death triggered Natsu to turn into E.N.D, his only instincts was to kill Zeref. Both Gray & Natsu was faited to clash. One of them probably would've died or both, until Erza stopped them and made them realized that they didn't need to fight just because who they are and how their intentions and their situation conflicted with each other. I think Gray was ready to die to stop E.N.D Natsu, carrying the goal his father sought out
@RobertVistal-jp2cw but that's kinda the point. If Natsu did kill Zeref, as a curse, he would have died as well. So by letting Natsu kill Zeref or even helping, he'd still be killing END anyways. 2 birds with 1 stone.

SHE’S MOTHERFUCKING ERZAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
But in all seriousness this gave me a new perspective on how I see this fight as a whole. (And it not out of place for Ezra to be doing this cause she got crazy feats from the last arc)
But then agree and can see your prediction of it.
I guess it's not the final season anymore
Ha😂😂😂
I mean of the main story.
Zeref and Acnologia was the main villains of the main story once they died there needed to be news ones. After all the world isn’t a small one.
This sounds like a poorly written abridged
ep number pleaseseee
Ep 309
I heated the fight wish it was longer and i hate the finale season Arc it was stupid
Haki
A part of me wanted Natsu to kill Grey, this conflict had beem building up since Natsu was discovered to be END,i was disappointed to see Erza stop them, because i felt like it cheapened the impact of their fight for it to end with neither of them dead or at least severely wounded,as in crippled for life Gildarts style...
There's nothing but hate in here that is feels rather cringy rather than a sense of 'oh, you're right'.
I hated gray for just forgetting about his rage when Erza doesn't even have a clue what happened to him in the past I wish they make gray more like sasuke
Really huh
This fight made no sense man, buildup was non existent, crappy reasons for the fight to start, and it accomplished nothing, most pointless fight in the show
nah natsu better
@@RobertVistal-jp2cw"fated to clash" is giving it too much credit. The story is all over the place and this fight is forced. In the manga they didn't even fight.
@moseslalmuanpuia8988 huh??? For real bruhhh watt. Ugh, Idvk anymore, I just think the pacing and the final season was so short it only had like 70+ episodes I think and it should've been like 100+
The animation in this show has always been so shit lmao.
I hate that Natsu rejected becoming a dragon, i do not understand why it’s so bad to turn into one
Damn this shit mid
What is this? Why is the dub so poorly acted. I don’t remember it ever being so bad
This shi is pathetic
what horrendous animation. This is not a great manga or anime, but at least the manga's decently drawn.
imagine building so much on end and this is what you get a fckin 5 min show of him at the end then here comes again the friendship shit and its over I used to love fairy tail the story started realy good and got worse every time bullshit anime
i hate this series but dawg erza is my favourite
it's amazing
That’s understandable I guess she’s my waifu?😂😂😂
@@wop2784I think it’s pretty good too
