"...for me, letting a young man fall into darkness when I know I could have done something to prevent it is even more unforgivable." Master Makarov really is like a dad to everyone in this fuckin guild man. Even when he's talking to someone who isn't in it yet. God, I love this show
I bet it stems from him not being able to save Ivan (and later on Laxus) sooner. I actually think that Makarov unintentionally neglected Ivan as a kid due to the former's guild master duties and taking care of everyone else
“There is great value in the time spent in one’s own company, but a lifetime of isolation is a fate no one should ever endure” that line is amazing and heartwarming. Fairy Tail is one of my favorites cause the series is full of wise warm lessons. Best feel good anime
Dude Makarov has a way of uniting people in their lowest or lows and after he gives them just a simple speech you feel like you can ascend to the heavens united and strong and its gets you moving emotionally as well like he almost made Gajeel cry
@@gagongnilalang9865 oh shut your mouth. Stockholm syndrome is one sided. Levi and Gajeel genuinely love each other but Gajeel is just acting like a tsundere.
Idc man fairy tale has a very special place in my heart and it’s my favourite anime of all time it. This is the anime that got me into anime in the first place and such a great story and well written until the last season really aconologia would’ve killed everyone without a doubt
I freaking loved this! Makarov had every reason to hate Gajeel and leave him to wallow in his self pity, especially given all the pain he caused Fairy Tail. But despite all that, and still making it clear that he is very and rightfully angry with him, Makarov offers Gajeel a chance at redemption, and the man took it.
Do Dragon Slayers get any nutrition from their element? Like how long could Gajeel sustain himself on that scrap heap? A day? A week? Until the pile runs out?
Yes they can. If I remember correctly (it's been awhile) Natsu was hungry af and then he literally some one's campfire and he had a full belly or something.
@@bulletproofman323 Full stomach but is he getting actual nutrients? I can eat candy until I’m full but it’s not like I’m getting any real protein, vitamins, or minerals from that. It’s not a livable diet. I’m asking if they can live off eating their element.
@@MereImitation I mean, he became fully active again after eating fire in a way that reminds me of how people become reenergized after eating protein, so maybe? Can't give a real scientific answer to that due to fire not really having nutrients, yet it affected Natsu as if might have nutritional value of some kind. Maybe to some extent, but not entirely, perhaps. Igneel did teach him to hunt, which could imply that they still need to eat actual foods to sustain their bodies in the long term, like in real life.
How is his narrative destroyed? Because of how well he is written up until the point at which he finally confesses everything to lift something that has been gradually built up throughout the series, demonstrating how much he has matured as a person and demonstrating that even someone like him deserves a chance at a happy family life-something he was never given as a child.

This was easily my favorite Makarov moment that hit hard the first time I saw this episode
Whoever wrote Makarov s speech must be an English major. He knows how to penetrate the heart.

In a way, gajile felt bad for his actions but hid it very well only master makarov saw through it
2:39 u know at that part that also makarov was struggling with his inner lust for vengeance but his ideals were stronger
Gajeel and Levy's child: "Mom, how did you meet dad?"
Levy: I remember like it was yesterday 2:33
Levy: He nailed me against a tree
Gajeel: Levy?!
"You also know I'm the one who did that to your little friends."
Makarov: "Don't remind me." *holding back murder*

This is when gajile became my second favorite character in fairytail their favorite in anime
Makarov was like the professor X to theses people he gives them a home
Makarov has both a nice and nasty side of his, accept what Gajeel for what he did to the guild and family.
2:37 say what you want about Fairy Tail but this right here is a solid moment that make it a great anime
1:58 The shadow leaves his face Showing in that moment he switch sides
When i watch this i always sob or cry
Also Gajeel will become a father of Levy's baby!
Stockholm syndrome

Vote makarov for president.
One little detail I noticed is Gajeel looked skinnier he definitely hasn’t eaten in a while. At least by guess.

❤❤❤
Gajeel had so much potential but he’s just another vegeta
Gray is Vegeta, not Gajeel
Gajeel is more like a Broly I think.
@@austinparker87 the closest thing to Gajeel would be Gohan
@@wop2784
Gray has nothing in common with Vegeta lol Gajeel actually doesn
Nah, vegeta is only another means for setting up gokus victory. Gajeel actually takes on boss tier enemies and wins.
Ok I totally missed this. What episode is this from?
I like gajeel but I sorta like gray more
:')

Such a wasted character , he was so well written and designed
