A banshee shrieks in the distance. This theme starts playing and you know you're in for the toughest fight of your life.

I remember having to defend the missile launcher on insanity difficultly. Never had to hunker down so hard on my life I genuinely felt like I was fighting for my life!
I literally had to run around to the corner store for grenades, then back to the street, then get ambushed by 3548921 banshees and die dramatically. So many retries)
I can honestly say that the final mission was one of my favorites. So so intense and at first without music. Then when you are in the SHIT, this plays. Literally staring at the screen and breathing heavy when the banshees arrive. Brilliant.
You ever done this on insanity? That is true pain Still, I guess that's why the difficulty is called 'insanity'- you repeat the same thing over and over expecting different results. Those damn banshees end every insanity playthrough
I have beaten it on insanity before, and it's freaking bananas man! There is one thing you could do to help though, if you have The Citadel DLC, you'll earn a special pistol that's really powerful. It's a huge help.
Obvious troll is obvious. That final mission is hands down the worst thing that has happened to the trilogy. Biggest pile of shit I've ever seen put into one mission. Plot contradictions? Double Check. Horde mode in the most important mission in the trilogy? Check. Terrible,lame and lazy map design? Check. Bugs? Check. Unfinished textures all over the place? Check. Cut content? Double check. Not a single color but grey,brown and dark? Check. Terrible textures and graphics in general? Check. "Retaking Earth"? Nope. "Fuck logic" moments? Double check. Call of Duty? Check. Lame speeches? Check. Completely misfitting and unrealistic depressing tone through the entire mission? Check. No music? Check. Reused music? Double check. The Battle for Earth track above has been used at least 4 times in the mission. Big Ben somehow manages to survive the whole war while the rest of London is unrecognizable? Check. Fun facts: - "This is it." cliche has been used around 4-5 times in that one,single mission. - Anderson was born in London. Yeah,you know what I mean. *British accent* - Bioware probably spent 4 days working on the whole level,and probably the last 20 minutes on the ending itself before sending the "finished" ME3 product into certification.

Orikon25 Everything you said its true, but it was because the game was rushed by order of EA Games to get more money for BF4 develop, thats why you spend a lot of time on the krogan and quarian campaigns and suddenly everything goes on fast forward, only 3 missions to finish the game, and yea the ending was the worst crap i ever saw in my whole life, but at the end the trilogy teaches you and makes you feel things that BF4 or COD will never be able, this game changed my life forever in a really good way, the game teaches you about tolerance, about staying strong in the worst moments and never surrender, about friendship and sacrifice, and thats the important things about games, i mean, REAL GAMES, not all that "good graphics" shooting and killing bullshit of this days...

I REALLY liked that even so far into the future, big ben was still there. And through the battle you sometimes see it in the horizon standing strong. It was an really awesome detail:)
I loved this game, when I first got it on launch I spent a week just exploring and finding everything I could, and really it was worth playing through the other two games for a full play through...but my god playing ME1 and doing EVERYTHING is torture..but even with ME3 ending I still loved it, never knew everyone hated it till I had finished it.
ME2 Horizon Spaceport battle, Overlord DLC combat theme, ME3 Collector Fever, this track, and I'm set for playing any game where the intensity level is high....now it's skyrocketed!

Is there an extended version of this somewhere? I don't find it. It's such a great battle song! It really gives you the sense of fighting for the final liberation of all intelligent life in the galaxy.
I really really wish I could've had a "boss fight" inside Harbinger to destroy it. Imagine having to do a ME2 Reaper IFF like mission where you have to fight through hordes of husks to get to its drive core and make it go Kaboom - while on a time limit otherwise your Hammer force gets massacred. And at the drive core, you fight the six different classes of Shepard clones.

I played this as vanguard on insanity for the first time today, I didn’t die a single time and I’m very proud (though half the credit goes to god mode garrus with the typhoon). Vanguard is my favorite class for sure
Right near the end, 5 brutes at the same time... later on 2-3 banshees with a formidable fanclub of Marauders, Cannibals and Husks. Normally I'd piss myself at both, but with this music I just go: "... ehhehhehhe... Come at me, bitches B)"

I was late to the mass effect games. The first one I played was Andromeda after DA: Inquisition got me hooked on BioWare games. I didn’t even finish my first play through before I got the originals and finished those. I’ve played the OG trilogy 3 times now before even going back to andromeda and it still has me totally involved in the story even though I know what’s going to happen. I just started a new andromeda game after finishing ME3 and I’m curious to see what I’ll think now that I have the knowledge of the background. Already I feel way less interested than the first time because I miss all the old characters and places

That extra skill at the end of the Leviathan dlc was very useful to mind control Brutes and other enemies, very useful.

I was late to the mass effect games. The first one I played was Andromeda after DA: Inquisition got me hooked on BioWare games. I didn’t even finish my first play through before I got the originals and finished those. I’ve played the OG trilogy 3 times now before even going back to andromeda and it still has me totally involved in the story even though I know what’s going to happen. I just started a new andromeda game after finishing ME3 and I’m curious to see what I’ll think now that I have the knowledge of the background. Already I feel way less interested than the first time because I miss all the old characters and places
You hear the same clip on ME3 Datapad when you send out your fleet. :)
