Damn!! That is a real shame, well you tube has plenty of memories on them for you to see Also, there are class 465s, which are their third rail counterparts.
These units are lovely. I can't remember being on one but my dad said they are better than the 700 with there ironing board seats which aren't great. I've heard from a load of other and saw some articles on these units. They said that the government are not scrapping these units they are being stored for the moment like some of 465 and 466 that went to worksop because of the 707. They also something about converting the 365 into hydrogen which will be nice but then I'm guessing the motor will be taken out and you won't the nice noise you use to hear.
In ammendment to our previous comment, the last weekday service will be tomorrow at 18:12 from King's Cross, and last passenger one will be 13:47 from Cambridge to King's Cross on Saturday, but I'm not sure if the weekend one is actually true or not.
Yes these are good trains, Shame they going off lease by Great Northern, These units should be converted into hydrogen vehicles and given to either Cross Country or Chiltern Railway for future use when the East West Varsity line between Oxford and Cambridge is finally reopen.
The motor sounds of the Class 365’s when they accelerate and decelerate are nice! Shame they’ll be going!
Indeed ^LW
They are basically 465s with ac power and toilets and highspeed and 1st class and 100mph
@@Nice_Person7379 And with a smiling face
@@Nice_Person7379that's why they're called Networker Express

Great video, you omitted to mention the Class 325s....
Cheers mate, oops forgot about them aha ^LW
@@thechilterntrainspotters I worked on the 365s from 1994 to 2011, never heard any staff moan about them, the staff did moan about the 379s and 387s.
325s are not Networkers
great trains which (somehow) i only found out about when theyre getting withdrawn :( nice video :D
Oh that’s a shame, final service is 14th May if you want to ride on one! ^OB

I think it’s a bit too early to say what’s going to happen to them now, but I’m sure they won’t be scrapped given they’re not actually that old
Imagine going from Bedford to Brighton whilst sitting on a seat which would be a coffin for your spine
@@thechilterntrainspottersthat aged well 😢
Nice I came here cuz of tik tok just subbed aswell
Thank you and welcome! ^OB
Do you know the last 365 service
I’m unsure of exactly the last service, however I know that it is this Saturday.

A reasonable video, but there are too many spelling errors and the use of grammar is poor.
Just started the video but yes yes they are as good
Agreed
Need them clicks on the vid man 😂 but yes they are the best commuter train south of Peterborough

I agree, it's a shame really
However, they're getting old now and I think new trains would be better for the two options you have mentioned. ^OB
Possibly Cross Country because one is stored in Manchester Alstom's depot
365s were literally the best trains . Now their being put in TDO
Hopefully GWR buys them and gives them a refurbishment
Hopefully LNER buys them so then they can stay in the ECML
Spotted too 365 at Hertford north carriage sidings
Oh that’s nice ^OB

I see those every time I go and come back from school, I go under a bridge which the 365s are parked on
Why they got retired
I think that they already got replaced by the Class 717 and Class 387, so they were basically rendered useless
Sad that every single coach got scrapped except for 3.
May they rest in peace in the scrapyard. 😢

Real travesty that these units are destined for the scrap yard.
Its a real shame ^LW
The 365s are going into storage the 365s are not being scrapped.
@@lordparma7556 Already in storage and destined for scrap
@@EM-yk1dw Not all units are in storage, and there is no confirmation they will be scrapped once withdrawn from service with Great Northern.
@@lordparma7556 I think that with no where else to go, I expect they will probably be scrapped, if it is not already confirmed. ^OB
