this track hits so different today. Im suffering through alcohol addiction and this song gives me hope that i need to get out of this hole i put myself into. i hope anyone reading this gets the help they need. This world has definitely gotten darker and i feel as a collective, humanity is suffering with depression.
Hey Bud You can totally do this...But it's gonna take one day at a time... I was there and now I can probably say that I'm proud of TEN years of sobriety..there's alot of hurt and sorrow ahead but You need to be humble and meek...Life's great in the sober lane my friend...
Beautiful to see It represents great for you too, friend. For me, it's a Mark of the process of losing my younger brother. It brought poetry for a so brute time. Wishing the best for you.
Agreed completely, you can just kinda feel the darkness everywhere and in everyone. You can see it in people's faces, the way they act and even in their work. People who seem to exude positivity are either exhausting themselves doing so, living a lie, or are so well off the troubles of the world are too distant to bother them yet. I'm pretty severely depressed as well and am also struggling to curb my alcohol consumption, here's to the best for both of us.
I was in high school from 82 to 86. I was heavily into new wave. Such an exciting time to be alive. Now that I’m in my mid-50s, I have a thirst for this music. Saying goodbye to everyone I've ever known
And we could spend the night together
I could be you

The moon is bright and my heart is black
Promise me you'll always remember
Never to find our way back

Was a star and I wanted to be the sun
They want from us what they cannot touch
Was lost and found and glory bound
For so long

For so long
Someone like you
