Great video! I replaced the locking pins with brass rings filled with lead. Been 2-3 years and still rolling up and down! Middle of winter and needed the Bronco to be functional asap! Thanks again you made it look easy!
Awesome man glad to hear it! Thank you so much! Please like the video, subscribe to my channel and stay tuned! I'm getting ready to introduce plug and play remote keyless entry for the Fox body Mustangs and Econoline vans.
For anyone reading the comments, you don't need to take off the window switch cover to get it through the door panel. Saves a little time. Great video though thanks!
Hello Tony, I just ran across your OBS window motor repair video. I'm in the process of doing my Blk 94 F150 Shortbed w/ 55K mi. Now you've peaked my curiosity on the Cougar / T-Bird snake project. Best Video I've seen on this repair yet. I think I heard Bluegrass Junction playing in the background.
Also, you can use three 3/8" ball bearings (basically a silver sphere), to replace the torque pins with as well. I got mine at Home Depot in the pull out bins. About $7 for all three.
Tony I admire your knowledge on all this electronics the more I watch your videos the stupid I feel but i have learn a lot hopefully one day all this will get get in my head
By far the best video on this subject I've seen. I watched 3 before I found yours although I appreciate the effort of the other guys, yours is straight forward and super easy to follow. Thank you very much. (The paper in the nut driver to hold the bolt is priceless advice! This one thing will save me in many projects going forward)
A real Vice is the real way to install the pins, great stuff. I have all the wrong vices so I'll have to get myself one of those and leave all of my bad vices to the past!😁
Tony my question is : when my windo completely bottoms out and its the down stop the motor over torques the window regulator and gams the gear on motor and regulator. Why is this? I'm replaced the motor and regulator and it still happens.
Great video!

I actually need a better one but it does work. Thanks!
Very good technic, but no grease needed?
There's plenty in there already.
