Veterans who have 100% permanent and total pay 0 in property taxes on there primary residence in Florida. Texas as well.
South Carolina as well
In NC its the first $45,000 dollars off the property that is non taxable.
There's an income cap
Thank you so much for this great explanation of Florida benefits available to 100% permanent and total disabled veterans
I believe you were incorrect on the taxes... if you're 10% or higher you get $5,000 exemption and once you get to 100% you no longer pay taxes.... I was confused when you said up to $50,000....was that for exemption on your taxes or actual house.... $50,000 exemption is for homestead
You are correct. 100% in Florida-no property tax on your home.
Thank you for the correction, its appreciated !
@@juhltone1well you have to pay some taxes it’s some fees but it will be a couple hundred bucks a year
You’re taxed “ad Valorem” which like I said will only be a couple hundred for the year
@312trapstar I am 100% p&t and I am tax exempt for the full amount in Florida.... I don't pay taxes
Can you cover Georgia? Thanks!
Great job!
Thank you for the feedback!
Thank you great bideo
Great stuff.
Florida anyone with 100% PNT you don’t pay any property tax for your primary residence
Great content! Keep it up!
Thank you for the feedback!
Would you please do Oregon? Thank you
Oklahoma/Texas very similar
Have to disagree with you about Florida being the most veteran friendly.
South Carolina gives 100% disabled veterans tax exemption from TWO vehicles with no monetary limits.
SC also gives 100% disabled veterans total tax exemption from a home.
Veterans get a DV license plate to vets rated 50% and above in Texas. Should be the same for Florida.
Texas also offers new driver's licenses for free to all veterans disabled or not...and it's good for nine years!
You must be 100% in Fl
In CA, you must be 100% to get a DV license plate. 😩
no you have to be 100 % in Florida. i am 90 being paid Un employable and have a letter form VA for disability and cant get a Disabled Veteran tag. have to pay full price for a disabled tag. if you are not 100% disabled by VA then you lose a lot of benefits in Florida. so the little you get for your disability in Florida is smtttnce a lot of good benefits in Alabama you cant get in Florida
@@bill6279not true if you’re TDIU you get the benefit. Letter award must say permanent and total
Is there some sort of book or handout that shows what you talked about?
Can you do a video on Virginia
Thank you. Could you produce a video of VA benefits for Ohio?
In Ohio, you get free fishing, hunting, with all the tags. Free DV car tags, and zero property tax on your home.
Can you do a segment on benefits for Louisiana?
For sure! It is on the short list :)
Are you going to do all of the states? What about Illinois. Thanks for sharing the information.
We will try do as many states as we can!
Her & her mom would do the whole state, making it a home wrecking tour package if paid enough
Illinois is garbage
I'm 65 years old 100% P&T static at my age I have no intentions of buying a house in Florida, I'm single / divorced I'll just rent an apartment, I don't a 3 bedroom house and only use 1 bedroom, waste of money.
North Carolina pleaseeeee
@TheVeteranCoach The majority of what you provided is for all states. VA medical etc. Cover the other stuff, like fishing, hunting, and other perks
Some states only have the basics sadly, but, I'll be attempting to cover most extra curriculars, similar to the more recent Texas video
Did you do a video for Now Hampshire P &T disabled vets already?
Not yet, but I will add it to the list :)
Will you please comment on my 100%DAV Washington state taxes and other benefits
On the list!!
So you do have to be p&t to receive the education benefits for dependents? You can’t be 100% only?
Texas
Mass.
Would you do Mississippi?
On the list!
So if my taxes are $5700 for my house, I wont have to pay taxes? Or is it $50,000 exempt from my house value?
If you are 100% P&T you should qualify for total exemption of your property taxes (up to $50,000) so your $5700 should be covered. A resident
of Florida, and who is disabled to a degree of 10% or more may be entitled to a $5,000 reduction in his or her property’s assessed value.

Virginia😊 would be nice
what is max age for dependent college degree?
26!
Texas has better benefits than Florida for 100% P&T. Texas has a TOTAL property tax exemption for 100% P&T...and you don't have to do the property tax exemption paperwork every year and your driver's license is free and good for nine years! Texas also has the VA Land Board where disabled veterans have priority in purchasing land plots being auctioned off by the state. Texas also has free hunting, fishing licenses as well as free access to state parks for disabled veterans. Texas also offers free parking at the airports for DV plated vehicles. There's a reason why many veterans refer to Texas as "Veteran's Paradise." From my own research Texas is #1 for 100% disabled veterans. Florida is a distant #2.
Texas is next to be covered actually!! Thank you for the input! 😊
Florida literally has the exact same benefits. I mean you have to file paperwork annually for the property tax benefits, but so what. Property taxes exempt, DL free, free parking etc etc. 🙄
😁
Ma’am Florida has clean air ! Texas got all that oil and gas smell .
Ma’am, I heard Govenor Abbot trying to take away Texas property tax exemption for 100% P&T.
How about Arizona
Added to the list!

Which ones can I help with?
MN is better..$300k credit on home valuations. No vehicle or sales tax on up to 2 vehicles
California
I live in Florida and am 100% VA. The services here are as dumb as the state.
I hear California is very nice! Maybe that's more your speed? ✌️
@@user-ls2me6tr2h I left California to come to Florida. From frying pan into the fire. Mexico next! : ))
