You nailed it. I’ve been slow on buying my own trying to stay as practical as possible lol. I’ve never personally owned one but that G80 m3 manual just might be my entry. Built a house and started a family so I’ve been driving my company car. We have been team Audi so far and I’ve had a great experience especially in my a4 manual. Sold it a few years back and now I’m dying to get my M!
Thanks my man! And yes, the G80 is probably the easiest version of the M3 to live with everyday. Awesome to hear about the house and family - priorities haha but yeah once you go M you can never go back!
As a 340 owner, I'd have to say you hit the nail right on the head with the F80 vs the F30. I love my F30 and debated trading for an F80 and test drove a few and the differences just were not enough to justify nearly doubling my payment (differences in respect to power, exterior looks and interior). As far as in car feel during pulls (folks may think I'm crazy) but my 340 definitely pulls harder than the F80's I test drove, not sure if I didn't have the proper settings but the F80 didn't put me back in my seat like my F30.However we all know the F80 is obviously faster and has a very attractive "beefy" look with the wide fenders. As you stated the ride just is not as smooth hence why it is an M car. Great content btw!
Totally agree with you on this! While I think the M3 is a track car for the street, the F30 is built to be a sports car you live with! For some people it is just not worth the increase in payment.
I bought a 2017 BMW 340i xDrive GT because it has ALL the packages on the car and it was only 20,000 miles for 38k..... Fast forward one year if ownership, I really want to buy an M3 CS or an M4/M5. I am stage 2 MHD and I just want more. Its a money pit, and I am debating on if I want to trade in my car for a new M car or just keep my car and save for a house :(
That’s a tough decision! Love the 340i! Not for everyone, but you can try to Turo to keep your car payment paid by renting it out! That is what I do with my M3!
@@ZaysGarage You are a brave soul Zay!.... I throw a fit when I take my car for service and the techs drive it. I couldn't imagine renting it out to people that I KNOW are going to dog it! LOL!
I had an M4 and really needed 4 doors after my daughter was born last year. I Discovered a super low mileage 2018 M3 CS for a steal of a deal (clearly mispriced) and with used car values currently on the moon, I jumped at the opportunity. I must say, the CS cars are a whole different animal. I love this car more than I have loved any of my others, and I've owned more than few 😉... The M3 CS was definitely misunderstood and therefore under appreciated. Lets see if the market corrects this oversight over the next 15 years.

Truth! Whenever I drive anything else, I really miss my 340 and can't wait to drive it again lol.

I think it has to do with the suspension. Stiffer suspension doesn’t allow you to feel the same g-force.
@@wissor33 I think you are in fact right about that one.

I love my F22 M235i. Maintenance before Modification is the motto to live by when owning a BMW. 👍🏼
Nice video man! Keep plugging!

Should've bought an M3 CS!

House man, invest in something that does not depreciate. Get the house then after you have a roof over your head, you can get all the toys you want!

I am resisting the bug… so far I’ve avoided it.
You are a lucky! It hit me so fast!
