I had a few issues getting the Connected App to work, but I was informed of proper instructions to get it working. A later video will be posted with my take on the app. Thank you!
Thinkware U1000 is just better and does not have hardly any issues. The Q1000 is going backwards rather than making progress happens to have unresolved problems. The Q1000 was a pushed product as other dash cams from its competitors were releasing newer products so Thinkware put out the lousy Q1000 with little thought. Newer is not always better.
This is not their new flagship model, but I would say more of their mid to high tier dashcam offering. What’s cool is this one offers compatibility with their new Thinkware Connected App.
Viofo A119 V3 (Budget and very good) or Thinkware U1000 (little better than A119 V3) or DPPAI X5 Pro (excellent) or BlackVue DR900X Plus (excellent but issues with WiFi). The Q1000 is a flop and not worth the money. Viofo A139 Pro (overheating issues and App not very good).
Not blackvue thanks to the latest app design they pretty much killed their camera, the a139 but not if you live in place that gets hot the thinkware q1000 & u1000 viofo a129 pro or a229

Front vehicle gives you a notice that lefts you know when the car in front moves after a light.
Please compare Q1000 with U1000 & tell me why I should prefer one over the other
I would buy the U1000 over the Q1000.

How does this compare to their U1000? That is/was their flagship cam. Does the Q1000 replace this?

U1000 is still better than the Q1000, no need to replace what works and spend money unnecessary.
The Thinkware U1000 is still better than the new Q1000. Many Dashcam companies are going backwards as newer does not equate to better.
Which dash can you recommend? I need help with looking for one
