Thank you!
that was so good! I just learned so much w/i under 8:30. I love the control he has over his voice range!
Joe Cipriano is freakin amazing!!! We sure hope guys are enjoying the making of his commercial demo reel!!!
WOW! After watching Joe's performance, I have A LOT of practicing to do before I am EVEN ready to get a demo made ith you guys. (Sigh) and I thought I was doing good. Peace
You're on the right track RC, keep it up!
+TheRCVlog Same here
Oh man this is awesome! I am so happy to see the new avenues and ideas you all are pushing out there!
I am in the process of going to a studio to record a professional demo. Can anyone help me with access to background music and FX, so that I can make my commercial reel sound authentic? Or does the engineer handle all of that for me at the studio?
AJWORLD15 You should be creating your demo with a professional demo producer who would handle all production of Finished product.
@@vobuzzweekly Thank you! I wish you folks were local!
This was so great! I love these "behind the scenes" videos. I also really enjoying watching Joes hand movements when recording
Joe Cipriano is actually my aunt's dad! I have been to Joe's house and it is beautiful! My aunt is Dayna Cipriano
👍💕👍
I heard the name "Joe Cipriano" before... now I know the face behind the voice. I love this channel. I watch it ALL THE TIME. Thanks for putting this great material on the "Interwebs." LOL . You guys rock.
Tom Glander Thank you very much!
Joe was my English teacher, I used to listen to the world chart show in the 90s when I was an English student, and I listened to him over and over..nice accent and to me and easy listening man!!
Joe Cipriano. A familiar Sunday evening sound in my home growing up with Fox's Sunday lineup after football
What mic and signal chain is he using? Is that just a Sennheiser 416 completely dry with no post-processing? What model of shock mount / pop-filter is that? I can't find 416 shockmount + adjustable pop-filters anywhere.
he just turns his head away to breathe
+Realistic Speakers lmao
You can find it on Amazon. Search 'Cisno pop filter'.
Avalon 737 through an Aphex Master, into a UA interface.
@@realisticspeakers not sure what breathing has to do with a pop filter...
Awesome demo. Also, the gestures he does while he's recording are something else
👍
Now that’s ACTING 🎭👏🏻👍🏻

I don't care how old this video is. i LOVED it! Inspirational, educational, exciting and fun! Thank you, all of you, for sharing. (I'll be recording my own new VO demo soon. )
Lol thanks for the cool comment 👍💥👍
thank you for the video. what is the equipment of the lowest rack?
Wow, so funny and great - almost like a comedy - I loved it. I fully watched. Thinking of starting VO - thanks for sharing the great job. Greetings to all from the beautiful Algarve. Do you know? If you don´t know yet, welcome to know with me. Merry Christmas to all :)
Thank you and glad you’ve enjoyed our videos. 👍❤️👍
Do you guys also record vocals for songs?
Not for the public. Only when chuck is working on new songs for his band Rock Sugar.
This is really great.... I think I am up for this
Stacey is cuter than a basket full of puppies...
Word. Times 100.
Tom Glander 👍
Look at that car, poor Joe, maybe we can have a whip round? Bwahahaha
whatta blaaaaast.... so superbly greaaaat.... lov d voice of Joe Cipriano... hope to catch in on air on our nxt visit to the US.... wehhh....
Thank you 🙏
I enjoyed the Joe show... But I also enjoyed the facial expresions of the audio engineer. Totally diggin Joe's work!
Yess... He was too good... Not jus in his facial expressions but he was totally immersing himself... In the process with whole of his body, mind, heart and soul... Loved watching him.... Kudos👏👏
I like this, but I want to see the “bad” takes to actually get something educational out of this.
My new idol!! Are you even human?? 😂😅🤣
GREAT video guys! You guys are so fun to watch, probably because you're having a blast doing it. Next similar video I'd like to see is how recording a demo with you works while recording remotely (I'm in NYC.) Logistically more challenging for seeing what's going on on the recording end I guess. :)
Great !!! Pedro Villanueva ANOUNCER from Santiago Chile
Pedro Villanueva 👍
Thank you very much for your work from Russia! Keep doing this please!
You’re very welcome and thank you for the cool comment 🙏
0:35 So he's pretty good I take it!
THE VOICE ON CANDY CRUSH SAGA
Realły great and enjoyable. As an audio producer and VO talent I loved it all! Love the mic and studios too! Thanks for sharing! I now feel inspired.
Hey Chuckster. Cool set up. What system are you using for Talkback?

Marcos Maldonado Gracias!!
Nailed it
Oh my goodness this is amazing!!!!😱😱😱😱😱😱
How's he able to change his voice like that? Can I do that too?? I'm guessing it takes practice practice and more practice?? And is it something that can be learnt or is it one of those things that you either have it or you don't? 😣😣😣
Kennedy Kithia 👍👍 it takes lots of practice and coaching with the right teachers.
This video is so well done. Quality in spades. But - Chuck - curious if I may ask, why you dont use the UAD's built in mic preamps? Is the Avalon worth another $2500 expenditure?
Thank you, Chamberlain. I always recommend UAD is a great choice for a preamp, but I personally just love the sound and transparency of the Avalon. If I didn't have and all I had was the UAD, i know I would be perfectly happy with it because it is awesome!! Thank you for your cool comment! :)
Joe sounds like Mr. Rogers brother! No offense meant! He is INCREDIBLE!
I love the tonal coloration and warmth .. what type of microphone do you use and are you aggressive with the processing?
Black Coder microphone following
Black Coder I use a sennheiser 416 mic and EQ, comp, de-essing etc.
@@vobuzzweekly sounds very warm like it's saturated through a nice tube......you using Avalon comps??
Sorry to be in your business but it's ear candy
Black Coder Yes I do.
the first video that i've enjoyed on youtube.. Amazing joe
what mike did he use and whats your vocal chain hear back shortly warmly Johannes New Zealand
We discuss that in some of our other videos so check them out. :)
Great stuff! Enjoyed watching this! Interesting process! Keep'em coming!
Nice video folks! Having my small VO studio i am interested can you share the equipment that you are using?
I can see Avalon 737 i guess , and some Sennheiser maybe 416 mic, but , what is your other gear?
Thanks in advance!

HI, very entertaining and informative. Could you make one for me too? I am doing voice projects abroad but don't have that professional demo type. hehehe
Great voice
This was great. The hype, the behind the scenes, and the final product at the end. Super helpful. Many thanks.
You’re very welcome 👍
Thank you! I have been told that I take direction well and would do well in VO, but it's been difficult to get started and I think this will help!

I’m trying to record a voice over reel and need all the help I can get. My friend Jon Mattox told me about Joe!
Are you having (or, by now, did you have) your demo professionally done?
So I'm a total noob, and don't know the players yet, but is Stacey the actress from the Must Do Disney videos?! I LOVE those videos. I watch them on in my motorhome sitting in my drive just to put me in a Disney mood!
lol yes that is Stacey from must do Disney! 👍
Oh my! Goose pimply!
This isn't really showing us how to do a voice over more so than showcasing those who are vets. I suppose I was expecting more of a "how to" video, than a "showing off" skill sets.
Love you guys and Joe
@@CanadianVoiceOversBill we love you back. 👍👍
What about making demos for cartoons or something like that? What should a person include??
😱Amazing Voice!!!
Alnaber Jul We agree!!
I like you jobs
Wow, that was absolutely fantastic! Im wondering, if the voice actors write their own scripts / texts or use pre written material?
Kind regards!

I think it's great that you did this video. I have been doing radio & voice overs for over 15 years & it's changed so much. now I have my own studio so I'm learning how to produce as well as our the whole thing together. Its really helpful having videos like this to help me.
I haven't seen how in 20 years he may not remember me. thanks guys keep up the great work!!!
Ahhhh I can only dream to drop a demo like Joe Cipriano! Nobody does it better.
What headphones are these?
That IS so freaking AMAZING!!. I can't stop watching it!!.
Hi sir and ma'am ... I'm speaking for myself and a group, here in the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago, who are now on the verge of entering the voice over industry. We follow your channel here and have been learning and understanding a great deal.....The thing is sir/maam , we, as a group, are on a budget and because of that, are constantly looking for budget gear, to get started , until we can upgrade. Can you tell us where we can source free downloadable sound effects and production beds , like those you use?....and sound effects for radio imaging.
Finally sir/maam , after the actual voice has been recorded , what is the chain of process used on the voice , to have it sounding full and rich?...thank you in advance for helping us out...
Antoine Inniss thanks for your comment and glad to hear you’re getting some great info from our videos 👍 If you watch all the demo spotlight video you will hear me talking about my chain and the gear I use so check them all out. I only use professional equipment which is one of the main reasons my sound is super clean and full. There are some cheaper choices out there but you’ll have google it and find the right options for you and your voice. I license and pay for all my music and sound effects but I’m sure you can find some low cost or free options out there if you search google. Hope that helps!
@@vobuzzweekly thanks for your timely response...it wasn't about the gear you use...it was about what do you apply to the raw voice in process, to give it that final product sound...like EQ , how do you apply it....compressing, how much is applied.....normalizing and so on...and at what gain do you record (microphone )..unfortunately sir , we are not financially equipped at this point to purchase the type of gear you use...also we here in the Caribbean are not in the know of sites, where we can find reasonably priced sound effects and production music...but if you know of any, can you list them for us please?...thank you
Antoine Inniss I don’t know of any sites that offer free music or sound effects but like I mentioned before if you search on google I’m sure you will find some. I’m not going to share my exact settings but I typically use de-essing, very little EQ, very little comprehension (2:1) and a little limiting. Everyone and every voice is different and requires their own unique settings. Hope that helps.
@@vobuzzweekly thank you so much sir...I do understand and appreciate ...
I can't wait until you guys can do these again. LOVE THEM! I learn so much and they're so enjoyable to watch. You guys are AWESOME!
👍👍
hey Johnny B, check out VO Buzz weekly brand new Voiceover Demo Spotlight i just did with Chuck & Stacey, all completely remote. Such a blast
Man I sure do like watching masters at work. And, um, mistresses too!
Love these vids, kids
I love this. I am very motivated
Awesome. Definitely going to save up and record a demo with you guys when my acting skills are up to par.
Loved this! Great job, Joe! For anyone who hasn't been fortunate enough to have Chuck record their demo, he is the real deal. Chuck's direction is nothing short of game-changing. If he ever lost his ability to edit, he'd make one hell of a career as a director. Thanks for the inside look, Chuck!
Magical! A joy to watch. And...the final product rocks!
Loved it!!! Thank you Joe, Chuck and Stacey.
this is bigger than duck face :) Really fun!!! thanks for sharing!
Please tell me where I can source that shotgun mic mount and pop filter. Need both for my new Senny 416. Thanks.
The one in the video is hard to find but you might be able to find it or one like it on eBay. Search Sennheiser 416 pop filter with mount
You can find it on Amazon. Search 'Cisno pop filter'.
Thank you so much.

More coming. Thnak you!!
The production and pace of these is so different compared to the UK marketplace, sure they are upbeat but nowhere near as energetic sounding as these (unless I have been missing something for a while - what's TV again?) Loved it and he looked so energetic and fun to work with!
