I met Mike and a couple of the guys at the Pilot station in Theodore Alabama, he told me that they always stop at that specific Pilot station on the way home from touring. So every time I ride through there, I'm always hoping that I'll run in to them again. I got kind of star struck and didn't really have anything cool to add to the 30 second conversation.

Thanks for posting this. It brought back some really great memories. I love everything they've ever put out. I also just love them as people because they are so humble about their own contributions to metal, punk, noise and what I call Nolacore. I was thinking about a couple of friends that I used to sit around every now and then and do what Mike and Kirk are doing here. We'd get together and just enjoy being in the same room and play records like this. A lot of times it would dawn on me a while later that we only that we only payed an album or two because we having such a good time being in the room with people who shared a passion for this music that most people thought was just noise. Those guys turned me on to a lot of great music that I still listen to til this day. I'm 48 years and it seems like all of that was 5 minutes ago. Then it dawn's on you that you have not spoken with any of those guys in over 20 years. Not because anyone got angry at anyone, or because our tastes evolved or we "grew out of" metal. Time seemed to speed up. We all got jobs. I got married and had kids, and laziness kicks in so don't go hang out with your buddies anymore. A few more years and you start to realize that you ain't who you used to in a lot of ways, so maybe those days you remember so fondly, might just be better left in the past because they probably aren't the same people either.
I'm not going to mention names, but just in case one of them runs into this comment one day I want so a couple of things. Thanks for letting me hang with you guys. Thanks for the cool ass music that you got me into. Thank you for some of the best memories I have about being a teenager. I hope life has treated you as well as it did me. Love you guys.
