Every year, LVMH designers gather to award an emerging designer with the LVMH Prize. Marine Serre, Jacquemus, Virgil Abloh, Ludovic de Saint Sernin have all been there. The prize is prestigious, the stakes are colossal. The prize is fame, fortune and a year of mentoring by LVMH's top brass. We filmed this key day at the Louis Vuitton Foundation. We talk to the candidates but also to all the LVMH designers present. Maria Grazia Chiuri! Nicolas Ghesquières! Nigo! Silvia Venturini Fendi! Kim Jones! Jonathan Anderson! Stella McCartney! But also Jean Paul Claverie, Sidney Toledano, Delphine Arnault and Bernard Arnault.

S.S. Daley had definitely the most cohesive look in his catalogue. Like Stella said, you can picture people actually wearing his clothes. I think it played a big role in him winning the LVMH prize.
I agree. In the too brief peek at what each of the designers had to show SS Daley's collection really stood apart from the pack. Plus his persona is endearing and his commitment to his creative expression is reflected in his work.
