only issue I have is in order to find the median you have to write out the whole thing

I have a shortcut...you can start adding the frequency and when you arrive at a value which is equal to half of your sum of frequency. That value in data column in the above problem to which your half of sum value corresponds is the Median. Thank you

...hi!...what if my data values are in a form of text like No Formal Education, Primary, Secondary, Tertiary with frequency distribution distribution of 61, 116, 108, 75 respectively?...how would the mean be computed... ResearchGate website has written off the mean as 8.38...i am quite confused as how this was solved...??????...can you help
