I like the design in general,however the crown being street art style isn't working for me. an embroided crown of a less graffiti style would fit better with the rest of the design.

I quite like the mix of old style and new
I use my black Winning bag gloves for sparring in karate and speed bag for 12 years and my gloves are still going strong. I was thinking of getting another bag gloves from Noble Art shop because I enjoy the video contents from Frank. But the thumb is my main issue. Love the old school style and the padding cushion. Solid video review big man!!
Another cracking video. I think people that started in gyms in 80s and 90s all started with bag gloves and then progressed to sparring gloves.
The thumb position is an interesting point. For me if the position isn’t right it can lead to all sorts of hand and arm issues. Also you lose power. The fist needs to be as compact as it can be. I know most sparring gloves it feels like the thumb position is wrong but the best gloves have enough give to make a decent fist. The cheaper ones just have the thumb cramp.
I love the mix of old school with a new vibe of these gloves.

The Reyes bag gloves are the best bag gloves I’ve ever used. I love them.
These definitely improved my technique at least a little bit because i noticed i was hitting my thumb on hooks, but i see what you mean with the padding blocking the thumb still anyway.

I don't think I would swap these for my RB5s. As you said the crack from the RB5s is great.

For natural fist position RB50 but I do rate these higher overall
I got a pair of these for the bag I do like these a lot but I do rate these highly I do use my training sparring gloves on the bag too to get used to the thumb being attached and detached
I think this is a sensible approach
@@Fit2Box I think that’s the best way saves training sparring gloves for actual sparring I do like the smaller 8 oz gloves as I can get more reps in to improve
There's glove mit from rev gear. It might be revolutionary as it solves the thumb promise. As it integrats the thumb within the rest of the fingers.
I think best way to teach punching correctly is on a bean uppercut bag.
You can do bare knuckle on this.

Congrats on identifying the problem with these disappointing glove.
The precurve and padding on this makes it impossible to make a natural fist.
With Franks deep history in Boxing you would think they would have replicated a bag mitt that has some relationship to an old school glove.
90's Ringside design isn't old school
Favorite Bag Mitt is Campeon. 1cm latex is the key.

Same issues with the cleto reyes…the front padding inteferes with the thumb placement. Recommend the Rival Pita gloves 😂
