I grew up in MO, When in Mud the best thing to do is keep those tires spinning, mud isn't something you go slow in, the tires need to clean out and the only way to do that is to keep them spinning at a faster rate.
Great video as usual recording your travels. I’m in Rapid City SD presently on a “Road Journey “. Yesterday was Custer State Park (Wow). Storm came through and temps dropped 28 degrees in 30 minutes. Welcome to the west.
I JUST found that campsite in the first part of the video when I ventured in that part of the bighorns last week and immediately put it on my list of "places I need to camp at". So cool seeing it on RUclips like this and knowing where it is lol!
Just found your channel, subbed and liked! Love Wyoming, born in Buffalo and learned to fly fish at 7. 68 and retired living on the gulf coast, planning a trip next summer out west.
I'm not second guessing, just trying to learn. Could you have re-inflated the trailer tire and have it hold air until you got to camp or were those pebbles causing a fast leak. I like the way you handles that issues, most would have probably changed the tire.
Yes we could have just have kept adding air but, this was a pretty simple fix that only took a few minutes to accomplish This way we didn’t have to worry about it anymore
1:22 ... In case anybody was wondering I asked ChatGPT how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood --- "According to a study by wildlife biologist Richard Thomas, a woodchuck, also known as a groundhog, could chuck approximately 700 pounds of wood if a woodchuck could chuck wood." .... Now you know !!
You guys all getting stuck without a tree close enough to winch to shows the importance of not going out alone! Imagine if you didn't have Matt to anchor from! I have no doubt that you could have made it out, but it would have been a lot more work! 😅
I lived in Sheridan WY for 13 years. I recognize so much of your drive. Thank you for making my homesick! Safe travels.
Thank you! So beautiful there.
@@CoddiwompleOverland Wish I did not have to leave. But...my job moved me to a different state. Maybe, we will return for good after I retire.
That's a great area.
This ENTIRE series has been awesome! The scenery makes a guy envious I wasn't on the trip with you all. Thanks for sharing! Great job!
Thanks!

Your dog would chase the sheep and maybe eat one. I highly doubt that thing even knows what herding is.
😂😂😂😂 I highly doubt he would eat one.. 🤔 guess you have not seen what he does off camera. "Come by"
