Hi! It's not your imagination! TWSBI nibs are German-manufactured, which are broader by default than Japanese-manufactured ones, like Sailors. I love a broader, wetter nib, so TWSBIs are my fave! I have that exact pen, the TWSBI Eco Glow Purple. ^_^
