Exclusive Frankfurt Airside & Hangar Visit | Condor’s A330neo arrives home!

- In this video we pick up where we left off in Toulouse, now the following morning at Frankfurt Airport awaiting the arrival home of Condor's newest A330neo, D-ANRB in the beautiful blue stripes. We get tons of apron action and close-up planespotting at Frankfurt, we catch the arrival of the A330neo, and then meet it at its remote stand where it drops off the ferry flight crew. We chat with First Officer Jana who landed the plane today, find out a fun fact about the special pins Condor pilots are issued, discover more evidence that Condor is the best airline for matching colors, then go into the hangar to watch it get towed in tail first and begin its bridging service, getting it all set and ready (and signed off by authorities) ahead of its first passenger service scheduled in five days time. We speak to maintenance technicians and watch them do their thing as they begin this complex process - everything from placing the headrest covers to scanning each and every life vest using some nifty RFID technology. And as ever we've got so many beauty shots of this aircraft - plus see how many other @condor aircraft you can spot in the video. There are many! Enjoy.

I flew on the old Condor 767's in the old Thomas Cook liveries many times years ago. Loving the rebranding going on with Condor right now. The stripes have really grown on me, and they are unmistakable.
The stripes are genius! Identifying a Brand through a pattern alone(nevermind Logo or colours) is a huge move from Condor.
It's just as memorable as the Checkboard pattern from Croatian.
Wow! This is my favourite Condor airplane right now.

Really interesting video - enjoyed thoroughly. I think the blue and white is the most attractive of the condor liveries - really like it and so distinctive compared to what is becoming too common place today - white fuselage with only tail in colour
The stripes might help engineers repair the airframe after the accident it just had with a baggage truck! 😄

A new zebra joined the fleet! In my opinion, it would be great if Condor bought some a321LRs or XLRs.
I like airlines that purchase the optional extras especially for safety and I appreciate Condor purchased both the ROW/ROPS, ATSAW and the Alternate NWS option
Can you explain what these options do?
@@MrKitt1997 Runway Overun Warning/Protection System will basically alert if it thinks the runway is too short or you have insufficient braking to stop in time, ATSAW is a more advanced TCAS where you can see the traffic around you and more details about it, and the alternate Nosehweel steering basically means if you loose the green hydraulic system you can switch the NWS to use the yellow system instead so it isn't lost and you can still steer on ground

Rebranding is awesome! I can only say that the A330neo is much, much better than the outdated Boeing 757 and 767.

Hi Gabriel. The Condor C-Series A-330 Neo RB preceded by a Lufthansa (Queen of the Skies) 747. Wonderful. A lot of Tedious "Little Things" to do in prep time. The aircraft looks very smart. I really like their color scheme of the interior of the aircraft, it goes well with the exterior livery.
And this aircraft is now damaged already by a vehicle…

Was there to spot the arrival if this particular aircraft when it first arrived @FRA from TLS as it was the first blue A330neo for Condor. Flew it in March 2024 from JFK to FRA 👍
In fact, it was damaged by a ground vehicle only a few weeks into operation and went AOG for roughly 5 months. Repair was finished shortly before I had my ride. Ultimately, it was only a few cycles old when I stepped onboard.

I flew on romeo bravo on 14th september to PUJ. We had a dealy of 4 hours because of some technical issues. It was the first delay for this aircraft on his 13 flight…. maybe some spooky activities 🙃🙃🙃

There needs to be a blur whenever the livery Is shown, along with a warning.
Why? The livery is so creative, not just plane white as all the other airlines use.

Am I the only person who thinks that the "new" condor livery makes the planes look like sticks of Blackpool Rock?
Rest assured, you are not alone. Those stripes make those aircraft so ugly, I'd almost pay more to fly on someone else's planes. Even a tail logo with the condor itself (an ugly buzzard) would look better.

Awesome episode. Actually saw it land a few days ago at LAX via LAFlights RUclips Plane-spotters. Didn’t realize it was brand new!
The stripe livery is for sure unmistakable, original, whatever you want... But let me say it is ugly, inelegant. Even my little grandson could have painted it better.. I know probably there have been crowds of designers behind it but, in my opinion, it is the ugliest livery ever...
aircraft design has really stepped up its game for the future but the color schemes of aircraft are pretty much a disaster believe it or not one of the worst rated color designs is condor Airways I know they want to get off the Thomas Cook scandal but the managers who picked these colors should be fired most of these aircraft don't look that great the blue one looks like a Jewish uniform in a concentration camp you can Google it yourself they've picked the wrong colors Condor should go back to the old school black nose yellow and gray bottoms with the proper logo I also have problems with other airlines like Air Canada getting off the Reds from the early 80s and going to a black non-elegant disaster color WestJet in Canada has always been this blue it works for the low budget Airline and there are probably 10 other companies that Rick they're design colors for their aircraft as no one cares how they look like this is only my opinion but there is many people who have the same ideas as me and the best advice I can give to Condor is go back to the original thank you

Honestly I do not like at all the paint that Condor put on all his planes, they should take a tour of Latin America to see what really is a good scheme of colors and designs and as a cultural breviary the A330 what is behind the Condor is from a Mexican cargo company based in Mexico City, That's what I mean when I talk about good designs. 👎🏻To Condor.
