Maybe they mothers suggestion should be taken serious by Lyft & Uber. Somethings need to change with the times. A mother and child dropped off in a random area in DC isn’t safe at all.
Drivers also may have their own mental health issue that need to be considered too. I can’t take shrieking or constant screaming but I also don’t drive for a ride share. There needs to be a happy medium for everyone involved.

I'm autistic. Stimming is what many of us do to regulate ourselves. As long as it's not causing any injuries, there's nothing wrong with it.
People are becoming less tolerant and compassionate nowadays. Smh.

Awww, I feel bad for the mother. If her life isn't complicated enough now she has to deal with this.
The bad thing about ride-sharing is that there isn't any training. All you need to do is have a cell phone an app and have a short background check then you can go out and start picking up people.
I know that's exactly how it works I have a few friends that do this when they need extra money. Now people with bad driving records are not allowed to drive for rideshare companies. My friend was in an accident that was his fault and he received a few different citations. After he recovered from the accident he had planned on starting back doing rideshares. When he renewed his information he was turned down because of his driving record.

The driver probably couldn't concentrate with the child having an episode directly behind him, sorry but y'all have to get out...

So you mean to tell me that if the driver had a child or relative that was a child with autism and had an episode directly behind them that they would have to put them out? I don't think so . Even if they absolutely had to let them out, you don't leave them stranded on the side of the road , people should have more sympathy and compassion for others , it's easy to say that's not my problem, but if could be your problem one day or it could even happen to one of your loved ones . Just take the lady where she needs to go and mind your business, is what the driver should have done , that was down right nasty and dangerous

It’s prolly she was running her mouth and had nothing to do with her child. Some (only some) passengers tend to run their mouth thinking they can get away with it.
