Unfortunately here in Brazil this little toy costs a loooooot more because of our brazillian fees :( But soon i will bring from another country one of these :) So cool and nice sound

No comparison? I mean for $200 you could get the charge 3 (sounds better) or thr bose mini link II (sounds better).
I bought the pulse for a mood setting lamp/speaker. to me that was what I was looking for. If your looking for better sound save your cash and go with tjr charge 3, or better yet pony up a bit more and get the extreme.
- Elliott i'd prefer the pulse 2 over the soundlink mini. i had the first soundlink mini and only had it for about 8-9 months and it stopped working. it wouldn't charge or turn on. so then i got the pulse 2 and i think it sounds more clear and has deeper bass. pulse 2 also has better features

Why no comments on the bass?
I tested the lower price Sony SRS-XB3 and it has slightly better bass than the Pulse 2, but only because the XB3 has a "extra bass" button. It also sits sturdier laying down. Still, the extra bass gets distorted when you play it too loud. Anyway, I got the Pulse 2 because of its cool light features and I also like that I can see the subs vibrating. Sorry for jumping in Taylor Clevenger but dude waited 6 months and got no reply.
I have a problem with my jbl pulse 2.Whenever i plug it to the charger the battery indicator blinks but even after hours of charging it does not increase the battery.....Please help.....
Is it as loud as jbl extreme

I came to look up reviews about this speaker because I seen it on sale for $119 for black friday and was looking to buy my boyfriend a bluetooth speaker for Christmas. If the you think $199 is worth it for price do you think I should go for it? Do you think this would be a good gift to get?

+Maik Peerless im from the philippines and they sell the charge2+ ang pulse2 for the same price. but i've read that they sell the c2+ for 150 and the p2 for 199$ so i was thinking if they cost the same here, id get the p2?

is there a remote so you don't have to keep going up to the speaker to change the volume?
Xross SweatPantz Think of it as 2 volume controls. One on the speaker and one on your phone. Just send the speaker to a good volume, say 75%, then control the volume from your phone. In other words, your phone (or iPad, Surface, etc) IS the remote, and you can control not just the volume but also the led effects and music from it.
Qichar I plan on using this with my Ps4 pro though. If I plug it in with the aux cord into my TV, can I use the TV remote to control the volume?
Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to that. Usually, a device that has an audio jack (aux cord) can vary the volume of its output. It works when I use the aux cable to connect it to my phone--I can still vary the volume through my phone. However, I hesitate to say with confidence your TV does the same. It should. But please don't get mad at me if you buy the JBL and your TV comes up short. If you were plugging it into a receiver that links all your AV devices, I'd be more confident.
Out of curiosity, why are you getting a Bluetooth speaker if you just want to connect via a phono jack?
