“Behold Our God” first appeared on the 2011 Sovereign Grace Music album, Risen. It was the next-to-last track and one of the last songs chosen for the project. When the songwriters (Ryan, Jonathan, & Meghan Baird, and Stephen Altrogge) first played it for the evaluation team, the feedback they received was, “Seems too ordinary at this point. Work on fresh and creative ways of saying these things.” Apparently, God delights in using the ordinary for his purposes, because twelve years later “Behold Our God” has been translated into over 15 languages and is being sung throughout the world. This fresh rendition, recorded live at the 2022 WorshipGod conference, seeks to capture the mystery and awe of God’s transcendence with his grace and mercy in Jesus Christ. It’s one more opportunity to behold the glory of the Lord in the cross and resurrection, knowing that as we do so, we are “being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another” (2 Corinthians 3:18)

Music is only a very small part. True, genuine worship is the reading and teaching of God's word.
@@zap0918 That is true: What these worship team lead congregations all have in common is, that they never preach from the Bible and the congregation never read the Bible. Those are like ships without a compass, which is actually comical, now this video and scene even sports a compass on the background. Another problem with these congregations is, that can't even decide on a Bible version at all. I am definitely a King James Bible version only man, I am that after years of research into, what is the best Bible out there, but this whole grace movement pushed ESV as the most perfect Bible version just 5 years ago, then NASB and now LSB, essentially because King Arthur (John MacArthur) has decided, that we need a Bible version with God's hidden name disclosed. What Bible version are they going to read from next year? That is just confusion, and my Lord is not the author of confusion!
