''dreaming bout that chariots stay sparked and trade cards'' he was born in July and his astrology sign is cancer and he used to be super in to tarot cards and the tarot card for cancer is the chariot haha part of the card means "The laurel and star crown indicate the highest attainment of man in spiritual evolution."
damn never thought about that
i used to admire steez the most for his spirituality and desire to look on the outside of what reality presents in order to get a better, more conscious view. Nowadays i more admire steez for his impeccable cadence and flow. dude was young asf to be so wise
I didn't even know this man and i felt a connection Long Live King Capital
Thats the beauty of music
47
feel like steez is talking to me, feel like ive known him for years
r.i.p steelo your in the heavens of the hip hop heathens no doubt
Sean Coppinger it makes me so happy that other people feel this way about Steez. I thought I was all alone
Same here
No doubt about it
I hope I’m not alone 🙁
Yo check my mix of Steez and Justice a french house band. I mix this song with Chorus and its a banger
Rest in Paradise Steelo, still slapping in 2019 til infinity beyond 🔥
Haven’t listened to this song in years.. just heard the song it was sampled from on Better Call Saul and the memories that came flooding back. Discovering Pro Era 7/8 years ago was one of the best I’ve made as a hip hop fan, Long Live Steelo
Nah, deadass? Gave me another reason to watch it
broooo me too
@@jerimiahschaefer385 ay bro what episode is it
I’m gonna watch but I just need to mnow

Well said homie

"and I'd rather die by homicide, instead of goin' out without a pride"
doesn't this lyric totally point to something???
RipPresidentZ my Intel tells me he went out with Pride 🍺❤
RipPresidentZ You know the truth...
King Dsvid g shit it's no secret anyone listen to NYCK @ knight says it all.
anymore*
When i first listened to steez was like 2014 and i listened to all his stuff before i heard like water and realized steez passed away fucked my mind up i shed a tear i was about 16 and i dreamed one day to see steez at a show and say what's up. I been to a few pro era shows, Flatbush zombies, and underachievers in houston and if a time machine existed id definitely go back and be a friend for steez to vent to and trust i miss the unreleased steez music that used to come out now king capital is our only hope of knowing what steez eas really cookin up in the lab in his last days, forever rest easy steezy, he like the Airbender when the world needed him most he disappeared
Always gonna be my favorite STEEZ track. He doesn't have much of a catalog but he's a legend. Him and Jay Elect always gonna be in my top 10.
Ever listen to Evol Love shits amazing man
ayy we like that jay elec mention

CoDesTV feel you dude
Capital STEEZ is immortal.
Kiese Ray you mean likes right?
Its chrismtas eve 10 pm. Rest in paradise king, its always around christmas i hear a beautiful steez song without looking for it, i dont believe in coincidence. Hes always around molding a new generation 🕉 hopefully hes at peace knowing he never folded and stayed true to his own style. Helping mold inteligent spiritual rappers over money hungry trap music. True insights in his music.
Who's up in here 2019???
Soon brother. Soon.
Every year fam
Of course my nigga
basedjj93 here every year brother
Till death mayne
Damn this the type of song his family and pro era listen to, mourning after all these years, we all know what it feel like, legendary.
Happy New Years STEEZ. Miss you
I love how Joey expanded on STEEZ's vision with his latest album. Brings me back to this song a lot. #LongLiveSteelo
"The Yellow tape was a warning sign, but it's hard to cut straight to the chase without a dotted line"
This went over my head. Explain?
@@jacoballen4903 He's describing a crime scene eerily similar to the one made when he was found dead, and it's also a really clever play on word's. When they tell you to cut out something from a children's book they use dotted line's, and they also outline a person's body with chalk when they are found dead in the street's, and using it in conjunction with the term "cut to the chase"
@@the-engneer Sorry but that’s incorrect. The yellow tape was his first mixtape with Jakk the rhymer. This line has nothing to do with crime scenes and suicide.
@@glen1waters first off Yellow Tape is a universally known signal of a blocked off crime scene. STEEZ was a master of word play, and he knew this
Homonyms look it up.
You act like STEEZ didn't use wordplay and knew how to use that word play on lyrics to give multiple meanings. I would bet all the money I have that he was making homonym lyrical with double meanings....like he does in almost every song
2018 nd i still cry :') #longlivesteelo
+MR. PEACE Welcome to the past
+MR. PEACE You still alive my friend :)
😢💓👀💕💕💕same😔
We four months in '18 how you feeling now?

The sampled song is in an episode of better call saul
"Some people like to compromise for the dollar sign but I had my mind aside "
His lyricism was ahead of his time he was so young rapping like this not even 20 yet that’s crazy imagine what he would be like now Dam gone to soon r.i.p.
He was such a great lyricist. Rest in peace Steez.🙏😞
It's shame that it has to come out this far that you had to leave but I love ❤️ that you energy is still here 🙏🏽
The production is spot on, joey created a banger
R.I.P(OWER) STEEZ. WE WILL LET YOUR GLORY BE BROUGHT TO THE WORLD
I miss you steez the world ain't built for those like us. Rest in peace and rest in war
We may never get another one like him folks, cherish what we have.
The yellow tape was his mixtape with Jakk the rhymer, which he refers to both of them in your quote.. Also it's "then I guess the kind, hit rock bottom about a thousand times" Referring to the 3rd Kind, a duo with him and Jakk the Rhymer
LONG LIVE STEELO BABY
Rip king💯one of the realest we lost in game

I MISS MUSIC LIKE THIS :/
Heard this beat in a episode of Better Call Saul and had to come back to this classic
LMAO same just now, Heard this and immediately recognized that piano, Was almost surprised at myself when this was the first track I searched up and was right, RIP STEEZ man dude was on another level
@@butterschunkmcdonalds5333 he seriously was, I wonder what kind of demons he was battling to take his own life but at least he left an impact on hip-hop. The song they used in BCS is handsome boy modeling school - the truth
in which episode?
@@timeheist5312 Season 1 Episode 8 “RICO” during the scene where Jimmy searches Sandpiper’s trash for shredded documents
@@timeheist5312 and the original song is “coffee cold galt macdermot”
Rest In Peace Steez !
How does this artist or song not get enough love
Steez has under 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, it's crazy
@J JM dude died early on you act like he was at the top of his Career he died before his career really took off.
@EBO47 47 shift from Chile🇨🇱
It's Handsome Boy Modeling School - The Truth. From the CD "So... How's Your Girl?" Handsome Boy Modeling School is the name of the production collab between Prince Paul and Dan the Automator, so, there is no wonder why the beat is sick.
Its actually Galt MacDermont - Coffee cold
"Is there heaven for us hip-hop heathens"
Happy birthday steelo
