mate this is week 13 😂😂, anyone can race the car also doesn’t matter the license hence why so many crashes and people who barely have awareness to race side by side, also means he’s probably racing lower iRating people or just people who don’t even actually drive open wheelers at all. I would like to see this challenge in a full race GP when week 1 starts, that would be worth seeing considering how long it will be and the different strategy’s that everyone will be doing. Hopefully he will, i know the races are long and that means the video will be as well but it’d be more entertaining having him race against people who actually have setups and practice in the car and who xar about their safety rating/iRating being affected.
Unless its Rfactor 2 and Formula E thats the only thing he didn’t beacuse its a different kind of thing

Absolutely no one whose driven this car thinks the codemasters version is better. This should be the new setup for esports.
While it SHOULD be, it won’t and never will be the setup for official F1 esports since it’s not an official licensed F1 product. Unfortunately only Codemaster’s F1 games and Real Racing 3 have official active licensed Formula 1 content. The W12 is Mercedes licensed content.
the one thing that bugs me about the F1 game the most is that the steering wheel looks way too basic and unrealistic. Plus the engine sounds are almost nothing like they are in real life.
@@Verziroo you're right about the steering wheel. You can see it by comparing how smooth Jarno has to be with the steering in Iracing, instead of just throwing it around like he does in the F1 game
Well unless other teams come forward and put their cars in the game and they won't that can't happen as F1 esports teams don't want their drivers driving around in a Mercedes unless they are Mercedes drivers lol
True, F1 game is just soo unstable and it has so less grip compared to iRacing. Also it's a lot harder to lock up in iRacing and it just feels better overall
I find it crazy that your skill translates to IRacing as a more sim racing game from a arcade game like f12021

While the physics Aren't exactly the same the driving theory is. Meaning it'll be fairly intuitive to learn regardless.

This looks so much better than the newest RSS Formula Hybrid on AC. I used to love the older ones but lately the grip just feels artificial and doesn't really match the steering inputs and feeling of the car. But here the behaviour of the car relative to the steering and throttle inputs seem to match what we see in real life.

Can't wait to get my PC up and running. I hear so much great reviews about IRacing and seeing how F1 drivers like Lando and Max frequent on it makes me wanna play it more. Just to see how it differs from all the other racing games
Honestly for me not that interested in the title especially seeing as the graphics are not good for todays standards, plus the ui is complicated and the community at times can be toxic

This os a simulator, not just a game, i dont think you Will get fun there nor let others have fun there with that mentality. All that matters on sims are physics and force feedback (and the quality/quantity of the content), anything else is accesory
@@alejog2001 i am not serious about sims i enjoy the immersion more than the physics so graphics are big for me , as long as the driving physics are semi realistic i am fine , dont get offended now that someone doesnt like iracing , some people just donnt want to pay 100 dollars a year for a game that looks like it is still being played in 2008

I personally want more of a realistic track perspective. How whatever car would normally react on such track, I wanna experience similar to equal effects in the game. I have a console and I wish they would at least let u update new mods or allow u to play online sims through the online store. At least with the PC u can enjoy ALL that sim has to offer

Motorsports needs to become much more affordable, or we need better youth academies that actually support and fund the young drivers from very early on.

All F1 steering wheels look like that basically. There are a ridiculous number of changes the driver can make to the car while driving. It’s basically all of those options Jarno was scrolling through in the bottom right corner. In real life the drivers make those changes on the steering wheel….while driving haha.
Just search F1 steering wheel. Multiple teams have done vids going through all of the options.

People have demanded such intricate control over the info on the ingame steering wheel in Codemasters F1 games for years, sadly Codemasters never bothered to try to put it into the game...
But at least we have sims like iRacing / AC / Automobilista / RaceRoom / PCars franchise as alternatives!

How realistic is this compared to rl racing in terms of raceline braking force feedback etc and is this like far more realistic than the codemaster f1 2021 game in really curious this seems more difficult than the codemaster game

"brake magic: off" on the right of the screen. First time i heard of it lewis missed the azerbadjan corner but what is it.
It chucks up the brake bias on the front tyres to 70 or 80%? Not sure on the exact figures.
Point of it is when you're warming up, you can get more heat into the brakes, therefore tyres, quicker. But also means that you lock up very easily in the front
Was ur car on high downforce? Cuz on the Kemmel straight u barely reached 302km/h

You have to lower your FFB a bit. The wheel was clipping in a lot of corners. Great driving though
