I think this is a good film. I am an introvert and I am shy. I often run into so much trouble being around groups of people. I prefer communication one on one. Thought the ending is cute.
I am a true introvert but I'm not shy. When I was younger I was but I had a job in retail and that made me "come out of my shell." I hate that phrase but it made me more comfortable.
Keirsten, same here. I'm also an introvert but I'm not shy. These characters are introverts with severe social anxiety. Writing about normal introverts wouldn't be much of a story. :-)
This makes it seem like introversion is something that needs to be overcome… I have no interest in being an extrovert . I actually feel kinda bad for them since they need external validations. My least favorite part of being an introverts is that extroverts don’t understand that I want to be left alone.
There's a specific type of introversion that stems from social anxiety. This is what makes Dorothy so lonely in the film. She's longing for connection but can't get past her anxiety to form any human bonds, except with the therapist. Not all introverts have social anxiety like Dorothy. Some of us just prefer life without constant drama.
I have also built walls around me as high as I cannot jump over them, as strong as I cannot break them.. so my only option left is to live in this miserable world, world full of regrets, till the end..
Shyness and introversion are not the same thing.
What's your point?this video is NOT about shyness.introvetts do act like this.ive seen them.
Came here from the book 14,000 things to be happy about and glad I watched this

Can't do what extraverts do with extraverts.
Not all introverts are like that
That's true. I'm also an introvert but I'm not shy. However, Shyness Anonymous doesn't have the same ring to it. :-)
