Get some command hooks and put them at the edges of the window then you can hang your rod off of them and the curtains won’t fall down. Would also recommend you hang them higher than the window cause it makes the room seem bigger and you won’t step on the end

Ayeee Ridgecrest are some good dorms! I lived in Lakeside West 3 semesters as a resident and 3 semesters as an RA not too long ago. My tip for you is to be nice and friendly with your RA’s cause they will totally be more lenient with you and let you get away with stuff if you’re nicer to them! I chose never to write anyone up due to me just liking my residents and also because I totally did the same things when I was a crazy freshman 😂
