Gundam: Battle Assault [PS1] - Neue Ziel in Story Mode

Neue Ziel is the sub-boss in this game. He is an unlockable playable character in Vs Mode, but he cannot be used in the Story Mode.
When using him in Story mode, only the mech applies. The pilot remains as Heero Yuy (it's his story after all).
===== About Neue Ziel =====
The Neue Ziel is a large boss character who cannot be stunned, even when combo'd or hit with super moves. He is always in flight mode, and does not automatically turn around if his opponent gets on the other side of him. You need to use the Charging strike move near the sides of the screen to make him go off it and come back facing the other way.
Despite being a slow character, his basics and specials are inflict high depletion. The Homing Missiles make sure he can target his opponent; the Charge strike inflicts massive energy depletion if all of it connects; and his Mega Cannon is lethal if it hits.
The main pilot for the Neue Ziel is Anavel Gato.
===== About Gundam: Battle Assault =====
This is a very good mech/robot fighting game, the 2D graphics are excellent and the sprites are animated really well. The gameplay is good, with chain combos and Cyberbots-style special moves. Due to the large sprites and high amount of animation, the game runs at 30fps.
The soundtrack is well-composed and is of the techno music genre, which is typical of what you would find in a Gundam-related mech/robot fighting game.

The Neue Ziel was a Zeon-developed mobile armour seen in 0083 Stardust Memory. Its considered a sort of predecessor to the Alpha Azieru from Char's Counterattack.

The mobile armor AMA-00GR Zero GR was the basis for Neue Ziel. The Zero GR along with the NZ-222 Psyco Doga became the Alpha Azieru.
The Neue Ziel itself would been developed into Neue Ziel II for Char to use, while the Alpha Azieru - along with Neue Ziel - seem to be the basis inspiration for AMA-X4 Ahava Azieru

The Neue-Ziel, the Delaz Fleet's little ace in the hole and their last machine, described as "the symbol of Zeon in its purest form". Developed for space combat, the thing's armed with a lot of beam weapons and missiles, an i-Field and its arms can be detached and act as sem-drone weapons, tethered to wires. Normally, such a technology could only be used by Newtypes, but because of the wires, someone like Gato can use them freely.

Don't forget, the Neue Ziel was originally planned out by the Principality of Zeon along with the Qubeley towards the late stages of the war but they were unable to complete or even start producing it.

She's using Gameshark. You can't normally play any of these characters in Story Mode
