I love this idea and I was working on something similar but it wasn’t working out for me so I took a long break from it (until now basically). However I think you can pull it off with ease. I created 2x2 patterns with glazed terracotta and tried to make a base that looks like the pattern from map view. Because they’re glazed terracotta, you can also expand the base by rearranging the pattern the thurther you go. Your video motivated me to try this project again so thanks! Also, that elytra/mace combo is the best mini game idea I’ve seen since spleef!
im just gonna say it you now have to transform the end in your own way because that would be a great transition between this video and the next one! i absolutely love this series so keep up the great work! cant wait for the next update on your world also minecraft looks beautiful between your builds and just natural minecraft with shaders!
I don't personally like using mods to help me build in minecraft, but I'm also one of a few people who remember that minecraft is made for each and every player to play how THEY WANT TO. I play with keep inventory and no one can convince me to play without it. There is no 'right' or 'correct' way to play minecraft. Things that seem illegal- leaving trees floating, not finishing your builds, using mods to help with minor or big things, aren't. As long as you're not using hacks on a server or ruining the fun for other players, do whatever tf you want.
No lie... you had me so immersed in the city project, that when the recap at the end came around, I was actually like: "Wait, hold up... when he built the redstone storage system itself... that was actually earlier in _this_ same video?" I had to rewind to make sure I wasn't going crazy! (Or perhaps I should say... going loony? 😆) Between your creative talent as a builder & your knack for narrative storytelling, you make _every_ moment of your vids feel like an event in its own right. I'm so here for it.
I didnt even notice the 47 minutes that went by in this video, definitely cooked with this one. If one thing could be improved, for me I'd absolutely love to see more of the design progress in videos, even if the designing happens in a creative world
how ironic, showing wheat on screen when saying "items you never need large amounts of" and then a bit later having to destroy your build because you didn't have enough hay bales, don't disrespect the wheat man, it's surprisingly useful in the form of hay bales and packed mud

Since I just came back watching you I just saw what I have missed. So much new stuff happend in the past. That storage system and the new endportal transition looks so great. When I saw that you mined some layers of endstone it gave me major chills and flashbacks from when I started watching you. So now the question is… when are we getting to see „the mace wielding loony killing 2 enderdragons statue“ ? But the whole build needs to have an arena which resembles the style of when you were trapped in the end. ( I think you know what I am kinda picturing in my head ) Daseko out. Ps; your Storytelling is just so calm and great to watch. Your voice always gives lofi vibes but I guess that’s just you.

Whoa this video was crazy! Making a castle with the map art in mind, and having the end portal underneath is awesome. There is one interesting thing that I think could help make the end portal simpler though. If you put powder snow *under* the end portal, yes under, it will still negate fall damage. This way you don't need the water and tripwire system! My friends and I have used this trick on a survival server and it never fails.

Nice video. I also got my start with map art back in the day by covering my chest shaped base with carpet to make a big chest on the map and I also made 16 colored sheep faces to cover a colored wool farm.
This is a really cool idea, impressive! Just one thing, you can use other blocks than logs and wood for the tree stems, it wont be noticable on further view
Do you edit these videos yourself or do you have an editor? I swear the way you tell stories is so fascinating it just makes me want to watch the videos all the way through!
I know we can just look at the map, but I think it would be really cool to fly up really high with an elytra and look straight down to see the eye of ender without use of a map.
I've just realized what would happen if that got lit on fire in ONE tiny spot, and my day has been ruined. All it would take is one lightning strike, and all of that beauty would be GONE!
Intro: 9/10 (dont like the music) In a world... full of chestmonsters: 10/10 A man needs a wither skeleton farm: 10/10 (love the music) Free as a bird: 9/10 (dont like the music but the end of the scene is very epic) Terraforming at its finest: 10/10 (great music) A journey through the storage tech archives: 9/10 (the not Minecraft-pictures look out of place and just copied out of google, not the biggest fan of the music) Building my fully automated storage system: 9/10 (great explaining, some bad cuts) Laying out the map art: 9/10 (not that good music, again some bad cuts) Never lose your inner child: 10/10 (best part of the movie) A towering city: 7/10 (bad music at the start, good music at the end, you did not fix the one tower) Needs a strong foundation: 8/10 (even more bad cuts, we are never seeing the auto waxing setup) And some preetty decorations: 7/10 (again not fan of the music, i realy dont like the phonk, not good explaining of the colour thing, also where did the diablocks go? i can only see one) With a cherry on top: 8/10 (think you should not have remouved the endportal or replaced it with something because you are jumping into nothing basicly and i dont like that) other small things: 7/10 (anoying subtitles, not the best music) Build: 6/10 (dont like the look of the tower, there is one split tower, the trees look out of place, the yellow glaced terracota is missing, the hole thing looks out of place, but it is a great idea) Music: 6/10 Overall: 8.93 Yes, i watched the movie a second time to make this review, because Loony asked for feedback. Hey man, got some info. I feel like you deserve a lot more views for the supercool things you do, but you also live stream. In notifications there's no clear difference between a edited video and a live stream though. This is a problem since i think only a small amount of people watch streams as well. Also, in my YT notifications tab, when you upload a video and a live stream, it combines them into one notification. To me it looks like just another stream uploaded, while you also made an amazing video. I think lots of people miss out on the video's this way. But this is just my experience. Hope it helps. Awesome video loony! Because you did ask for feedback in your stream I would like to say that I don't know how I feel about the subtitles. I feel like they take attention away from the things you are showing us and they also compete with the funny jokes (in text form) you make during the video. I just feel like they are a bit much sometimes in combination with the other aspects of the scenes. I know a lot of other youtubers use them but you are so good at storytelling that they make the video feel cheaper in my opinion. I also still have to get used to the new era of litematica (and other mods) but if that is what you are exited about i'm excited about that as well. Don't get me wrong, I still really enjoyed the video but these where just some things I had on my mind and I hope they can help you with your thought process.
