Loony, I have been REALLY looking forward to this next movie, I rewatched 0-3000 in the days leading up to today, and, well, maybe I can just show you. 2:12:33 = Day 0 - 1000 1:35:03 = Day 1001-2000 2:05:10 = Day 2001-3000 0:40:37 = Day 3001-4000 40 and a half minutes, for a thousand days? My heart sank a step just seeing that number. I clicked on, and watched the movie I had anticipated. Loony you do an incredible job in your world, you are fabulously talented at Minecraft at a level I'll most likely never be at, but this movie, these thousand days, they aren't Loony. You are just fleshing out the underground part of your base. There's no real adventures, no continuous side quests, no chat derailing you, there's no spark that is in your other movies for Season Two. This just feels, well feels like gravel. It's just "here's the update." I do appreciate the movie, and I do think you're doing an incredible job in your world, but maybe you should get out of your base and touch grass (in minecraft of course). The rest of your world is mostly empty still, the outer end is a boundless source of potential builds not even tapped into, and there's 128 strongholds for you to find. You could have soo many adventures, and these would all be great experiences to share with you. I'm just trying to say, it's great to keep motivation up to keep grinding, but maybe you need another walk in the mangrove swamp. I'll see you again, at the next 1000 days. Safe travels and good fortunes to you Loony.
Hey James, I get where you're coming from, but for the long term flow of the series sometimes the grind is the thing that needs to get done. And considering the contents of this 1000 day arc I really don't think it would've made any sense to stretch out the length of the video. I think your comment is cool btw, because the things you seem to be enjoying in the series are the things that I like the most. But sometimes as a creator you just have to make the content that needs to be made so the future content gets to be what you want it to be. Hope that makes sense!
@LoonyMC That does make sense, and I do understand the grind does have to be done. We all want to see a finished castle, a finished underground industrial zone, and that takes thousands of days to get done and to do it right. I'm looking forward to Day 5000, and I do agree that there wouldn't be a point in stretching this arc out when there isn't much story here to tell beyond the advances made in the industrial zone. The Green Area looks beautiful, and you've made a large step forward. I look forward to your future content, and I'd like to give an idea for you to ponder: Populate the Outer End. Make actual Villages out there, design them in your own Loony way, and get Villagers out there. Even if it's just 1 little Outpost for now, there's no harm in planting the seeds for fully fleshing out your Overworld, End Dimension, and even that treacherous Nether. You got a shulker from the Outer End to your base, just imagine the journey for getting a Zombified Villager from your base to the Outer End to then cured so the only home they know is the world you brought them to. It would be something unique in hard-core minecraft, and I can only imagine the crazy ridiculous tactics you'll use this time. How do you top a 1 ice block wide path from spawn to base? You do it the Loony way.

However, I have to side with OP...to expand on that: Your 1000 day movies so far have been, well, movies, and they felt like it. They had both story arcs and great attention to detail, you showed what you were doing long enough for us to follow you and emotionally invest in the world building and exploring you do. This movie mostly lacked that feeling for me. I'll give you an example that kinda bugged me: Towards the end, you built a greenhouse in the green area. What did we get to see from that? A few seconds. You cut in quick succession from the starting frame, to the finished frame, to half built house, to the completed house, to finished decoration. That's stuff we WANT to see! The way you're presenting the stuff you build now, we don't get a feel for the process, for the time invested, for your creative thoughts. I feel like you optimised your video a lot for our "Tiktok brains" as you call it, but it feels like the video loses its soul. Do with this critique whatever you like, you obviously don't have to listen to me, and you make your choices for a reason... just, please, keep my points in the back of your mind, I loved your 1000 days videos so far
Your editing has really improved so much and I love the unique style all the time! Always looking forward to watch another movie and see some INSANE talent!
I havent been extremely active on the livestreams that got you from 3500 to 4000 days, but i can safely say that every single time I watched one I enjoyed it!

There’s crazy blocks, crazy mobs, new dimensions and is a world open to amazing builds and lots of time!! Anyways, after this hardcore maybe try the mod out and see?

Such an awesome series! I hate crafting dispensers too but I found out a trick that I like better, personally: make the dropper pattern in the crafting bench with stacks of 64 and put bows in hotbar, then you can pull the bow into the crafting menu with the keys 1-9 and shift click them into inventory

Hey ! Love the series so far, your storytelling is really adding to the quality. Side question, do you use the light level overlay from minihud ? It would make it easier to spot spawnable areas (never had the chance to watch on stream I don't know if you mentionned it already)
