I set up a dirted tank like 2 weeks ago, and the tannins from the organic potting soil have made the water look just like that. I thought about adding some purigen but i kind of like the stained water. Plants are doing great and no algea so thats a plus.
Regularly watching ur videos since day 1 , ur doing grt and the tank is evolving beautifully. Pls do have a second opinion abt adding angel fish in this setup as they hunt during night .
You should add an strong external filter and plants that grow quick and destroy nitrates well at this point. If you dont then half of the fish will die.
@@ars.photography8952 A tube or something like that… Obviously, this would require drilling a hole in each aquarium... difficult perhaps, but not impossible.
Unfortunately I have same experience, I had manacapuru angelfish and cardinal tetras, during the day all was fine but in the night all I heared was water splashing when angelfish hunted for cardinals.
Wonderful, I would recommend adding more plants! 😊
I’m going to try some new ones!
@ That will be very fun! I just ordered some plants from father fish and it's not here yet but i am excited 😆

The black water is beautiful. What plants are you growing?

Absolutely amazing. What an incredible addition to an already wonderful community aquarium
I'm so glad you like it! 😊
Very nice tank, put dwarf cichlid ( apissto, altispinoze, ramireze...)
Would be interesting to connect another tank, with different plants and elements, to this one, and see which population of fishes would migrate to it.
How can u connect 2 fishtanks ?
A negative gravity bridge@@ars.photography8952
@@ars.photography8952 You can with a glass aquarium bridge
@@ars.photography8952Yes, I need to see that

Tank looks great, but I think that bioload now is too big for system without the filter.
You're going to over populate that tank
Awesome
Thank you so much!
Beautiful
Thank you so much!
Cool enough. Will not see anything better in 2024 :). Amazing tank :)
Thank you so much!
Love your little aquatic world! what kind of brunches did you put in?

Very bad decision , act quickly or your Angelfish will make a quick snack of other smaller fishes. They will hunt in the night.

This Aquarium is large enough for them to roam around...mostly it will not happen
