Just got the device from Metro. Got it on Monday. As far as I'm concerned, it is one of the better phones that I have used, and I go through phones like a madman. Camera is decent, though I don't often use the camera. The Google assistant button is a little ridiculous, and I often press it without meaning to. That being said, it oddly comes in handy. Gotta be honest, for a free device, this is one of the best ones I have ever used. Charging could be a little faster, but I've also been spoiled by Motorola's TurboCharge technology. All in all, a well rounded device. (No pun intended).
CON: Processor lags more often than I would like.
For a free 5G offering, I give it an A+.
BS, Nokia is not reliable, in an emergency, you get screwed 😒
I bought this phone 9 days ago from Metro-Tmo and I love it. I replaced an LG Stylo 6 that was crashing too often, and my local guy recommended this phone as the best bang for the buck. I agree. I looked at the Samsung A32 in the price range and considered the Samsung A52 at more than twice the price. I paid $179 plus upgrade fee. I figure I'll replace it with whatever is better in a year or so.
The phone is slightly smaller than my old Stylo 6, which is what I was looking for. This is not the biggest phone out there by any means. I have large hands, so it's not an issue. If you can't afford or don't want to spend $400 or more for a higher-level phone, this one will more than do the job. I have no complaints!
Media ten processors are awful. You did the rite thing with nokia x100. Snap dragon always a better processor hands down

Better phone for sure. Always remember to check processor inside phone when checking specs Media tek is not great .as it tends not to handle too many things at once
I bought this phone and I love it so far. Camera takes sharp and crystal pictures. Battery is good and has lasts a long time. Overall, this is definitely well worth the cost.

Nokia known got being out there for many years. Was my very first phone back in day with lime green screen. . Still today out there making great phones. This phone will get the job done for most people.and not break the bank. It's not. For looks it's. Gets the job done.😀👍
Great review! If you have another phone where you can set the shutter speed on the camera to 1/4000 can you check or do you know if the X100 uses pwm (pulse width modulation) you'll see a flickering/lines on the phone at that shutter speed
Nokia was on-top for our grandparents. Can't imagine they'll still make more like this. XD
This seems like a very acceptable secondary phone for a power-user, or main phone for regular use
I had my last everyday phone so long it literally fell apart in my hands. I was a Metro customer for years before I moved back to the Midwest. Metro finally opened a store in my town and offered the phone free for switching back.
Hands down it is the best free phone I've ever had. I am a big guy with huge hands so the big phone is perfect or me..
The 6gigs of ram and the 128 gigs of storage makes it feel like a higher end phone. I'm not much of a gamer but there is world of difference with this phone. Best camera and videos as well.
I love this phone..so much so I bought a screen protector and an OtterBox case for it....more than I paid for the phone and I run my entire business on this phone. No issues pulling up invoices, using my various payment gateways, and even swiping and processing credit cards are all with no problems.
The only two issues I found are with the face ID which sucks so I disabled it.
The other issue is when I put it in my pocket the screen tends to come on and dial 12,000 numbers. I fixed that with the OtterBox and faced the phone inwards.
Great phone in my opinion...it is one I that I would purchase if I had to.

Yes, absolutely it's worth considering.
Many factors with the X100 or the global version X10. Yes it’s a big phone but it’s actually built well and durable. It’s on android one and will be very well supported. Nokia support is by far a cut above the rest ( from personal experience). As mentioned 5G and 1080p display. Manual camera controls. No bloat ware at all. Very reliable finger print scanner. The battery is very good indeed and very efficient with the 480 chipset. It really does give Samsung and moto a run for its money.

I work at metro and it's crazy because most phones we have have 4 gb ram and around same price point so I recommend this phone most people buy Samsung's and moto cuz the name not realizing what a bang you can get for this one

I bought that phone . when I Was trying to connect my hotspot at my tv, it doesn't work. If I connect with any other device, the connection works perfectly. I don't know what can I do but .my tv works good whit another dice hotspot
So if I port my number and get the free phone can I use that sim in my Verizon iPhone ? It has no sim restrictions but if I can get a free phone and use as a backup that’d be good

I got this phone last night... So far I love it. I love the fact you can change your keyboard them to make it pretty. The battery is great! I honestly think the battery life in this phone is better then samsung. So far so good. I had the samsung Galaxy S21 before this one. Yes its a downgrade but its well worth it.. Great job Nokia😊

I'm personally using the Nokia X20 which is actually a kinda similar phone, nice build quality and great overall performance for daily usage, zeiss camera works better than some other midrange phones. The best thing of this phone will be its battery life, I'm consistently getting 12h of screen on time for every single charge. Love it!

@@jayant97 Yes, one of the main reasons I went for Nokia and I like the centrally placed camera setup, unlike all the other phones that have it in the top left corner. Getting generic now with that design….I hope Nokia will always remain original with their designs and people give them a chance….

I got this phone through T-Mobile as my second line for work, I believe I paid around 250 bucks, which I think this is a great bargain for you buck. The processor may be a little be old but it makes up in the other specs department.

I have this phone and absolutely love it. Most of the phones I have had in the past were Nokia as well. This x100 charges fast btw
I remember I had a Nokia phone that was running windows on it. It was such a awful experience back then. I think they did get better when they switched to Android on it .

The xr20 is a durable beast. I purchased mine of month or two ago. Already running Android 12. The 480 chipset works just fine, phone gets great signal Wi-Fi and LTE 5G.

I had a Nokia when they ran windows. And it scared me away ever since. Never tried a Nokia after that. But this phone seems really good. The processor isn’t great but it makes up in other specs it seems like. And it has gorilla glass 3. Which no other budget phone has it seems like.
The only problem I can see with my phone is when I'm on the RUclips somebody tries to call me and it don't go through and I don't understand that I've never had that problem before any phones from Metro I've had

I just was interested in this phone bcuz may upgrade to phone I hve now the OnePlus series. Bck n the days my first Nokia phone was the antenna less phone. Was ok to me cuz bck then most phones had antenna. So I'll see and yes from what I gathered today this phone is more pocket friendly.
My first smartphone was a Nokia Windows phone. I still have it sitting in its box in a drawer. Compared to what's being made today it was tiny.

I just bought one today and he tossed in a screen protector and a phone case for 155.00 out the door with a 50.00 per month unlimited data. But my main focus was on the 128GB storage and the 6 Ram my iPhone XR I got in 2018 is either old or I’ve been hacked. Either way it was time for a new phone. I hope I made the right decision.🤞

I was with the Nokia cell for 6 months having problems from the beginning and if you want to verify it be my guess, Call them have them read the notes. I told them to write them on Their system. I give you permission to have them release my notes and the phone calls I had to make using somebody's cell.

At $250.00 the Samsung Galaxy A52 or Moto G Stylus 5G seems like a better deal. I'm not even an iPhone person but I'd get the iPhone 11 on Metro for $50.00 over this.
I didn't see the A52 or any iPhone at a similar price-point. I paid $179 for my x100. No complaints.

Right now at Metro, it costs $0. Lot of Metro phones are on sale for $0. The Moto G Stylus 5G and iPhone SE 2020 are $0. The iPhone 11 is $99 but you get a $50 giftcard after 3 months of $60 service. The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is $99. Lot of good choices at great prices.

I thought Nokia put out 2 system updates and 3 years of security updates. Motorola gives 1 system update and 2 years of security. It would be a pro vs majority of other competitors. The real stock android user interface is a big pro to me.
The G Series 2 years OS Updates, 3 years Security updates. The X Series 3 OS updates and 4 years security updates. My XR20 is now on Android 12 and March 1 Security update. Also 3 years manufactures guarantee. They also plant 100 trees for me. No charger included, no big deal for me.
Having owned one, I recommend that one change the white balance on the screen. It looks so washed out and awful at standard settings.

You have to enable developer options.and then at developer options you can toggle "system UI demo mode".

The Nokia plain Jane software runs really smoothly. I highly recommend this phone for the price range.

I bought nokia 3.1plus with Android 8 and it updated till android 10. I don't know why this video says nokia is not doing good in update.
He's referring to Nokia from seven or eight years or more. Many of the Nokia phones are part of the Android one program which ensures at least two years of updates, on my Nokia xr20 I get 3 years of updates and 4 years of security. The reviewer just doesn't up to date on Nokia's improvements.

Don't be fooled by the 480 chip. It performs like a 765G chip. Lot of people see the number being in the 400s and automatically think it is a big downgrade from the 700s.

My Nokia x-100 has the Qualcomm snapdragon 750 chipset and so far I love it ....very snappy and handles multitasking like a dream , am able to watch RUclips while streaming to my tv at the same time .....only complaint is it's not waterproof......no ip rating
