love that Isiah laughs reminiscently about the silly stuff that just happens when a family is struggling to survive. I can imagine his brother's face the moment Isiah learns "well... what had happened was..."
This is beautiful to see, Isiah is real people. Until I saw him interviewed on Club Shay, I had no idea about his humble beginnings. He was my favorite player during his era.

I’ve always felt that Isaiah was a halfway decent guy. I think though sometimes in regards to the Dream Team snub he knows the deal but was happy to be part of the controversy especially if it put Jordan in a compromising position regarding his image. The guy has a bball iq and knowledge that I myself have used when playing just form listening to him analyze a game. He has held every title known in the league…..😂😂. But I also see the smiling assassin which probably comes from what he is describing here in his upbringing. Dude had a responsibility the moment he went to Indiana and he seems like the type of person that says ‘I ain’t going back to that sh*t’. Took care of his family, built a legacy, saved his money ( invested or whatever) and gives back to his community. Visibly through conversation or sharing empathy…etc…etc. Can you ask for more…..
... That coach also didn't protect his player. No way he should have been playing on that knee and the coach was too worried about his nonsense legacy dude you're in a high school position You're not coaching NBA or even a college school. This cat should have been in the NBA or at least been given a shot and not be diminished because he got injured and his coach didn't protect him like he should have That's the truth. Isaiah Thomas is one of my favorite players but he's wrong here and I understand he's got loyalty but I guarantee he knows he's wrong respect to everyone here Love you guys hell yeah one of the best movies of all time
What you're missing Isaiah is these cats come from a very poor neighborhood and were offered full scholarships and that school took that scholarship from Arthur That's nonsense that would never be allowed today Not to mention they would both get and I owe money. I went to Catholic School If you get promise to scholarship you should keep your scholarship not his fault especially if you're recruiting outside of the area pinatore is a punk a loudmouth punk It's not a good coach he's a clown
