Siskel and Ebert invited all the 5th and 6th graders from Brooklyn and Queens to watch Hoop dreams with them in 1995!

What's funny is when you look back at the era in the 80s and 90s and even the early 2000s..you never heard young players disrespect past all time greats and their eras. They always showed that reverence for them being pioneers who paved the way for them and the game. It's only in this era right now that we hear these disrespectful dudes who don't care to even study and know the games history that has all if this nonsensical stuff to say about past players.

I’ve always felt that Isaiah was a halfway decent guy. I think though sometimes in regards to the Dream Team snub he knows the deal but was happy to be part of the controversy especially if it put Jordan in a compromising position regarding his image. The guy has a bball iq and knowledge that I myself have used when playing just form listening to him analyze a game. He has held every title known in the league…..😂😂. But I also see the smiling assassin which probably comes from what he is describing here in his upbringing. Dude had a responsibility the moment he went to Indiana and he seems like the type of person that says ‘I ain’t going back to that sh*t’. Took care of his family, built a legacy, saved his money ( invested or whatever) and gives back to his community. Visibly through conversation or sharing empathy…etc…etc. Can you ask for more…..

It's funny to me that old heads can disrespect these young players and the game being played today but as soon as someone claps back a little they lose their shit...I will explain what he had to say in a way you can understand and maybe stay out of your feelings? Simply put Ant means he has to go up against another great athlete like himself every night because of the talent level...How many times did MJ go up another similar athlete...Rarely because there were only a few and very few at his position...If you disagree name them! I'll wait....while you're at it put together a video of the skilled power forwards and centers from the 80's and 90's crossing players up and shooting jumpers and fade aways! Show me something other then put backs and jump hooks to show their high level of skills.... I'll wait!
