MY DEAR LOVE MIKE...TOOK ME TO YOUR CONCERT IN Santa Cruz, CALIFORNIA LIKE IN 2003 OR 4. I SO LOVED IT. SADLY, HE PASSED IN 2009. AND I AM CONNECTED TO HIM THRU YOUR AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL....SENSITIVE & CONSCIOUS MUSIC. WITH LOVE...JEANNE
Absolute bonus. Was watching the yobkulcha series of Sebastien LeDaftien's travels, went out for a smoke, and when I came in the algo had delivered this. A new artist for me, and one I'm absolutely loving. 'Talking with my father' is a special song.
Thank you, Dougie McLean. More than a year later I find this. Now May 2021. Our young family saw you many many years ago in Petoskey and then in Traverse City, Michigan, USA. Thank you for your beautiful gifts to the wide world. This Love Will Carry Me. The best. Thank you.
My wife and I have loved your music for many years. We sat in an intimate concert in Louisville at a table just beneath the stage. She said you were singing just to her. Thank you for your gift to humanity.
Ready for the Storm has to be my favorite song! I just love you Dougie Mac Lean. Thank you for sharing and letting us sing and have songs in our hearts.
Thank you Dougie. You are one of God's gifts to humanity. While others are worrying about what they want to take from the rest of us.............you just share your talent without any conditions. Bless you.
I can't tell begin to tell you how much comfort your music has brought my husband and I over the years. We've been fortunate enough to see you in concert a couple of times and look forward to doing so again. You always sound so good in concert. Your love has carried us many times and This Love Will Carry--always
Thankyou for being a part of my husbands funeral ......singing Caledonia while our favourite pics played . So perfect ! And for the memories while I sit here listening to you ! Many special memories ! Thanks .
I'm very vulnerable, haven't seen a friend for two weeks and don't even dare touch the mail for three days at a time. I can't say how much this meant to me. Thank you very much. Fran in Seattle
Dougie I'm listening to you from Washington DC, USA --- your music has never failed to take me to a more beautiful place and time. Thanks a million for these lovely concerts!
Thank you. I so needed to hear this. I was weeping (over a husband recently gone beyond)when a clear thought crossed my sadness with this line: this love will carry, this love will me, I know this will carry me. So I found this concert and this song will is always good, but tonight exactly right.
Thank You for the Music offered here for free. I am enjoying Your presentation in Hamburg in Northern Germany. Go on and stay healthy You both and all the others here around as well...
This is wonderful Dougie! I’m listening in Austin Texas, I appreciate so much your generous sharing of your wisdom, your good will, good humor, and lovely voice and guitar playing. What a gift to us all around the world! I’ll look forward to concerts to come. And thank you to your wonderful Jennie and son Jamie for helping make this possible. Sending my best wishes to you all, Shannon
I'm here in Aus. Love to listen to ya Dougie , music is so great for the soul. Its good for you to mention the people that are the Front workers during the difficult time.....Best Wishes .
Listening from 5 minutes down the road from Dougie in Dunkeld but so grateful he is taking the time to do this to entertain us during this period when people can't get out. We are very blessed to have him near us.
This is actually the day that the 50th concert was supposed to take place, and I thought it fitting to go back to the beginning to watch the first one again. And I'm enjoying every concert. Thank you so much. all of you, for putting these wee concerts on. As long as you want to put them on, I will be happy to watch.
I met Dougie briefly when he performed in Calgary sometime well back in the previous millennium. I cant't recall where - might have been one of the folk clubs, might have been at the U of C.
Dougie sang this at the concert in Findhorn that I went to.... a good chorus song and we sang well there. But the Global Choir sings much better!! Thank you Dougie and Jenny for all the concerts.
Just found your beautiful concert on RUclips. It's made it up to me for not seeing Scotland for the second year running. Thank you so much! Ewa from Poland
A wonderful broadcast, and loving-kind way to share meaningful time across our safely mustered, worldwide distances, which only you Dougie could shrink so well into a cozy, historic, hometown school auditorium. Thank you deeply, Dougie, Jenny, and Butterstone. It's been decades since I could join your live audiences in Columbus Ohio USA, but you've been a profound family favorite ever since. Somehow this low-bandwidth gift from you means more than ever. Looking forward to enjoying more, definitely with loud and rich applause and sing-alongs, as always! May you all be richly blessed with health and at least as much kindness and heartfelt joy as you've given of yourselves. Gratefully, a family of a few fans for life.
I am applauding silently at home, having discovered you/your music belatedly after digging deeper into the music of Rich Mullins, whose music carried me through so many years of my life... You were one of the very few people, (other than his own compositions,) whose songs were included on his albums and in his live performances. I think I just was too busy during those earlier years to investigate who this person was that wrote this wonderful song that Rich sang so well... "Ready for the Storm" is so beautiful and moving. Now, that I've been through a while lot of storms in life, this song means so much more to me than it ever did back in the 90s. And I'm really appreciating discovering your other songs/music as well...
Thanks Dougie, listening from Perth, Australia. My fiancé and I are planning to have Caledonia as our first dance when we are able to get married next year. I was good friends with your nephew Mark from Dunkeld 9 years ago when we lived together in Perth, hope your all safe and well . Rusty
Dougie, thank you & your loved ones for making this concert possible!!! Yes, I was applauding. I saw you some years ago at an excellent concert in Charlotte, NC. Hope you come back through the US when our times are more settled. This MacLeod from Skye wishes you & your loved ones much good health, xoxo, Mary in Boone
Dougie, thank you so very much for generously sharing your talents with the world during these unsettling times. Music is wonderful therapy for all of our troubled souls.
Thank You for your excellent Concert ❤️:) Your tech is working Very well ✨ Thank you for Doing this wonderful You Tube Concert To chase away the doldrum :) ❤️✨🍷😊 🌃🌻
Thanks for the music to lift our spirits! Much appreciated. Ready for the Storm is the song that introduced your music to me, so it's great to hear you kick this off with that tune. God bless you, good sir!
Glorious, heartwarming. Thank you Dougie. We were at Findhorn last year and so love you. Singing along with tears streaming down my face, but in a happy way.
Really enjoyed this Dougie. Well done to you and Jenny and your son. Hope to see some more songs. We were singing along. Our requests would be Caledonia, Broken Wings, and We'll be Together Again.
I missed the live stream........but I tuned in today. Thanks Dougie for sharing your time and wise words. Greeting from Australia . Keep the music coming our way...... Best wishes
I just stumbled on this wonderful performance from "way back when" we were all trying to figure this pandemic thing out. What a treat. You're such an amazing songwriter! I hope you make it back to Utah, USA or that I can travel to see you live again soon. Thanks for going to the trouble to produce and share this!
Howdy from Texas. Your gift is truly appreciated! I had planned to travel to Scotland this summer and am feeling the loss. This was very beneficial for my state of mind. Hopefully I will be able to see you in person in 2022!
musical treasures found in unfamiliar places.. like sea glass shines the brighter by the waters’ thank you, dear Dougie, sound waves brilliant as ever -🐚🕊
Good morning Dougie Early morning here in Haumoana New Zealand - feeling very low and a bit scared for my family and our people of this precious world. You reached in and lifted my spirits..... Thankyou
What a treat, Dougie. Thanks. Just what we all needed. Let's hope this situation has gone in time for Perthshire Amber. Would love to hear Seanair's Song, Green Grow the Rashes, Jamie's Song (too many to name) or indeed blow us away with a fiddle tune - the Osprey or the Gael. Spoke to you in Dunkeld last Amber Fest about how much I enjoyed Piping Live in Glasgow. It was mind blowing with the Gael and Trail of the Survivor being particular favourites. Keep safe and well. x
Hi from Nelson, New Zealand where I work from home usually looping Caledonia for a few hours whilst i work. Wonderful to find this longer recording. Thank you!
Such a lovely gift of music and story. Especially appreciated as we cope with disappointment that our trip to Scotland will not take place this summer. But as the song goes, “this love will Carr me...”. Thank you!
Sure I saw a wee movement in the Audience ... Oh, rapture of music, wrap me in the warmth of a heartfelt fire that burns warmly to ward off the coldest of souls xxx

Hi Dougie & Jenny: I hope that both of you and your entire family has survived this pandemic. Where I live I have been fortunate to be able to play golf with social distancing (to combat cabin fever) so that's why I have missed your live broadcasts. I am, however, quickly catching up with your most enjoyable "live concerts" on RUclips. I hope to be able to return to Dunkeld and attend another Perthshire Amber once this crazy pandemic is over !! CN & Sue Nitibhon
Hi Dougie, what a pleasure to be able to sit here in Western NSW, Australia and hear you from your roots at the old school house, I was reviewing lyrics for Auld Langg Syne and who best to review with such a song at this time of events ? Also although we like to remain isolated in a way we do appreciate all those in our lives and there can be no better way to reminisce than to sing this song and recall all those who have touched our life. Good fortune to you and yours Dougie, we salute your talent
