the right door always opens first, RIGHT?.....You could trim the sealing lip off the left door, but then the gap would be .... a gap with no way to seal.....I didn't realize that this is a non-adjustable modification.... You are fearless about cutting into stuff without a complete plan.....Almost as much fun to watch as Bad Chad!
Its minimally adjustable, with a hammer. As long as you can slightly weld like me, if you mess something up, just weld it back together and pray for the best. I have been welding for less than 2 years so anytime i get a chance i drop what im doing to weld. Practice makes something...
Wait til you see the acrylic doghouse video. I went into that with a plan and did a complete 180. I try to always show my failures and that is an epic 1 (or 2) but the end product is awesome.
Could a Dodge mini van door work? They have a large glass section and the top rail isn't very thick on the door. I ask because the slider on mine is CONSTANTLY jamming leaving me stuck outside. It's a wheelchair van.
You didn’t show how to mount the actuators or struts gas shocks on the back doors the length and how many pounds are they? I have a dodge van 79 B100 my van has the single doors on the side I’m gule winging the two side doors
thank, you for you're video. Random vanners east coast VA. 2%
This is the video I've been waiting on. Great job as always.
Thanks man.
Which size type strut shock you used @@CrossCountryGarage
@angelorama9153 36" 185 lb shock. same as I used on the side gull wing door (think there was a list in that video)

I really dont know, never had a dodge van but I would think it probably would. Glass doesnt matter, just be careful welding around it.
@@CrossCountryGarage Thanks. I'd have to have a shop fab & weld it for me. I appreciate the reply. Take care.

everything is identical to the side door as far as hardware and mounting points (which was the video right before this one) Thanks
@@CrossCountryGarage 200lb is to much can’t get it to compress to close the door
@user-xz2yx3fu2u I dont know about dodges but you will have to adjust the mount on the door itself either in or out. I would go in 1 inch increments.
