Just came across your videos. Im from New Zealand, drive a 04 Holden Commodore YV seris2 HSV Clubsport 6Sd manual sedan. Basically the 4 door vertion of your GTO. Was very interesting for me to see that even though yours has been manufactured as a lert hand drive, that they left the Hand Brake installed on the right hand side. Thanks for rhis video, ive just finished making a 5 clock dash insert for mine, it comes standard with two gauges in the centre much lije yours, oil pressure and volts. I brought a blanking plate like yours came with, cut the centre out molded a face plate/cove to mount 5x2" gauges, AFR, Oil temp, and vacuum to go along with the standard oil pess, and volts. Cam fit three side by side, with another teo above. Covered in C/F it looks very factory. Just needed tips to disassemble the console to wire everything in. Great detail. Thank you snd Hello from little New Zealand
Came across your channel as I was looking for GTO coilover installs. Noticed your dedication to the gto just wanted to say thank you for the videos, the how to, install guides, tips n tricks. Already seen a few of them and wanted to let you know you got a new sub !! Looking forward to more content.
This just made the to do list. Maybe I’m old but it bothers me so much not having an oil pressure gauge. How lucky is that switch thing? I look forward to that😎
I used to just use torque pro with a Bluetooth dongle to read oil pressure but it wasn't very convenient. At least not as convenient as having a guage always there. I always worry about tapping into the wiring somehow in cases like this, I was quite relieved to have such an easy solution right there.
@@evsnova74 I’m supposed to be dialing it back but I’ve got an addiction! I just installed a catch can, hopefully it helps and I have the gforce rear coilovers on the way. And I’m collecting parts for the manual swap. And now I need gauges 😂 I appreciate you brother, your videos are crucial. Any plans on a fuel pump video? Figure while tank is out I’d like to change mine but I want one that can support 600 ho or so while not being a terrible experience to install.
@@goat_life254 not any time soon. I'm hoping to do heads and cam next winter, which might necessitate a better fuel system but time will tell. And I'd love to rebuild my differential, it clunks so badly.

@@evsnova74 I’ll probably get to heads and cam same time. I have to get a magnum in her first though.
@@goat_life254 here ya go, this channel probably has better content than mine:

Don’t pull the panel to remove the radio you’ll crack the board inside. Pull the clips outwards and wiggle it to remove the radio
Don’t remove which panel?
The stock radios can be crazy tight to pull out using the holes in the face
Where are you getting the oil pressure signal from?
From the ecm, it draws it from the canbus signal. 05 06 only
@@evsnova74 did you pull signal from the main harness under the hood or somewhere else? Sorry I must have missed it if you said it in the video!
@@eazhar on part 2, 5 minutes 20 minutes in it shows how I tapped in to the obd2 port.
@@evsnova74 awesome thank you!!
