    Wow, what an awesome video!
    I'm really glad I was able to be a part of this awesome project, and it was honestly a lot of fun to help and see the hole slowly get bigger and bigger!
    I really hope the process will be a lot smoother with the next perimeter, now that world eaters work on the server again!

    I don't think anything is ever going in that perimeter but at least you made one

    This has been a long time in the making, even before I took this break, so I'm very glad that this project is finally finished. And hey, if you want to join the server yourself, make sure to join the Libercraft discord server (discord.gg/f6hZfSUn), where you can fill out a quick application to become whitelisted yourself. We'll actually be launching a new, seasonal world very soon after 1.20 comes out

      How often do you guys reset the world?

    • @MonoCodeYT
      @MonoCodeYT  Год назад

      @@Mossbro1 well, right now the server has only one world that doesn't reset at all, called the permanent realm, but then once 1.20 comes out, there's going to be a seasonal realm that resets every 1-2 years. that realm would then be the main realm for lore events and stuff like that
      edit: i straight up forgot that i explained like half of this stuff in the original comment lol. so yeah, tldr; server resets every 1-2 years

    Crazy how their were no liquids (water/lava) at all after the main ocean when running the dupers (or carpet bombers that you call them for some reason) across the full length of the perimeter or no obsidian not to mention in a full ocean perimeter :p
    I know you mention sponging out the water but that’s not the main killer of making a perimeter in oceans. It’s the lava and the obsidian because there is so much of it

      Just use sand for lava. Bucket spamming is annoying as f*****. Burned Through one shullker box full of iron blocks and still it wasn’t enough. On the other hand sand may seem annoying at first but take my advice use sand for lava on trenches.

      @@LongingVictory my dude, I have made over 70 perimeters in my world so far nearing 75. They have been done in pretty much every biome imaginable and oceans are by far the worst with all the naturally generated obsidian in ocean caves and all. Buckets help more than you especially with nether perimeters above lava lakes. They just skipped over all of the liquid clearing after the ocean level which is not the worst of it that’s why I commented

    that's hole-y. (sorry.) cubicmetre has a video on using paper-based servers for technical minecraft, and his conclusion is "don't"

    Is it possible to use vanilla server or other server tho

    • @MonoCodeYT
      @MonoCodeYT  Год назад +2

      well yes, it only breaks on any server software that is based off spigot, but even then, as i found out after making the video, there is actually a setting in the spigot config file where you can increase the limit of tnt per tick, which completely solved this problem, but sadly i didn't know about it until the perimeter was already done
