Kinda strange idea but wouldnt it be possible to use a flying machine that sweeps the bottom of the perimiter for the ancient debris via probing the picked up blocks with a controlled tnt explosion blowing up only non blastresistent blocks directly adjacent to the pistons?

Sure, but 2b2t is not vanilla, and has had many duplication glitches which kind of make that irrelevant. You can dupe as much netherite or whatever you want and call yourself the richest but nobody will care.
It’s called safe break, where if you sneak it goes into your inventory instead of the ground. It’s in I think carpet mod extras or carpet TIS addons if I recall correctly.

Because of how huge the perimeter you have is, I would recommend the fabric mod "Bobby" as it can render chunks that are unloaded by not really rendering any changes, it basically shows how an unloaded chunk looked to create an amazing render distance, for a reference Docm77 uses it on the hermitcraft server and runs at normal frames with a roughly 100 lazy chunk render distance!

Maybe richest technical server, however semi anarchy servers (non hacking) such as purityvanilla and simplyvanilla which use netherite as currency have far more netherite blocks in circulation. Now even though duping is enforced against, there’s undoubtedly a ton of duped netherite, but excluding that netherite there’s likely still much more legit netherite in circulation. This is an awesome project
I wonder if there's any worth in compressing the ancient debris into larger clumps. The biggest problem I see with that is individual flying machines hitting push limit too quickly to be worth it. Maaaybe there's a possibility of having the flying machine return to home, then smartly graze over the top of the first clump, then lower back down once and onto the next clump(s). That said, I don't knowucb about flying machines, but I'm definitely gonna play with them more after being inspired by this video!
The problem with that concept is that the debris are on the same level as leftover blocks, so if you made a machine that would push the blocks to the south side of the perimeter, it would also push netherrack and blackstone which is way more abundant than the debris
disliking for clickbait title. if server wealth is measured in ancient debris i could just create a custom biome made entirely of ancient debris, or use console commands/creative to do it. how do you even measure the ancient debris on all the other servers? if that’s something to brag about ill just cheat it in and be the richest!
The rules for technical survival minecraft servers is quite obvious, must be vanille and thus a normal seed, only client sides mods alowed and must be 100% survival. So if you keep these in mind you're welcome to try and beat them. Also how is it clickbait they litterly have the most of like most of materials in the game on any survival server

That (along with distant horizons) is literal torture for my laptop which doesn't have a GPU
