It still amazes me when people think the only reason people want immigration control is down to racism. England is full we can't house and employ the people here.

it's not racist to want to protect the reason for the development of your entire culture and language. that's rediculous thing to think. there is big ethnic differences that we should cherish and respect. it's not a negative thing at all. But britain is obviously extremely far into speculative and unscientific racism ideology.
anglosaxians and germanic people is the reason why english is how it is. so thinking this is a black or white issue is just being dismissive and ignorant.

No just full! Full roads, overfilled applications for jobs. The reason I don't move another family into my home is not because I hate other families, it will decrease my quality of life. I have to question those shouting racism all the time, why they think everyone is thinking on racial lines? Are they protesting too much?

The scary thing is that our Parliament does not contain at least a few hundred Brendon O'Neil's. This country was once the bastion of classic liberalism, yet it long since started to display its secretly FASCIST establishment authoritarian hierarchy at work. This tendency has always existed, it is nothing new. IMO it has simply spent its time and effort projecting this FASCIST/corporatist tendency in other peoples countries. In this supposedly post colonial era, these establishment psychopaths are finally coming out of the closet and now concentrating their EVIL intentions at home. The EU is clearly George Orwell's 1984 on steroids. Peace = WAR, Truth = lie, Liberalism + Illiberal-ism.
We were warned, we now have been warned again, the question is are we going to listen, and more importantly, act accordingly.

Discovered Spiked-Online just recently and have quickly become a huge fan of Brendan O'Neill. He's one of the few who clearly spells out the democratic argument for Brexit. Most mainstream Westminster Brexiters and Theresa May seem utterly incapable of this.

Tyranny demotes the cry for liberty into little more than a punchline. It allows unthinking, eye-rolling dismissals an unearned currency in the face of calls for greater freedom that once belonged to genuine political struggle.

10:11 this is how me and my family all look at it... we thought it would be a landslide for LEAVE, because why would anyone want to tie themselves to a group of people who make such bad decisions. I found that Leave voters did a lot more research, because they really had to defend their views from people calling them names. Whereas Remain voters just listened to the rubbish that was being spouted everywhere. I mean look at the EU army... when leave voters mentioned the eu army they were laughed at, but we were right.

I am married to an immigrant (Polish), was under 30 at the time of the vote, live in London, educated, in the top quartile of income, a Classical Liberal, working in the tech sector. I ticked about every box for a Remain voter, and people are genuinely amazed that I support Brexit.
The reasons for me are simply that I think in the long run the UK will do better outside of an unreformed EU than in it. It's also a matter of principle, I don't view the EU as liberal or fair. Finally, it was never about Remain or Leave, but Leave v Ever closer integration. The EU is incapable of keeping the status quo.
I love Europeans so much I married one. I just think the EU is an organisation I'd like to not be a part of given the choice - which I was, and so I took it :)

He mentioned The Daily Mail. The Daily Mail were for Remain. That is what their front page pushed on the day of the vote.

Botany 500 Ha! And now they've flipped sides to appeal to the majority voters which is why Virgin have banned the sale of the Mail newspaper on their trains.

I still dont understand how letting the third world in to "work" is good for the working class. I can see how the third world may benefit but the British working class,i just dont see it. It might make Brendan feel better but im not sure i would as a member of the working class.
