    Ooooh, I love artichokes!! They’ve been soooo expensive this year. I’ve always steamed them whole, but I will definitely try this technique next time!! Also, my mom always made 2 dipping “sauces”, one with melted butter & lemon juice and the other was mayo with lemon juice (I usually don’t like mayo, but it’s amazing with artichoke!).

      My mom just throws a few in her insta pot for less than an hour with seasonings and they come out delicious! We also eat them with some mayonnaise on the side but not everyone likes that 🤷‍♀️ It's extremely easy and we don't cut anything. The furry pieces are actually connected to the heart which you can eat too (not the furry pieces)!

      Lord Jesus Christ is coming back everyone, please don’t worship celebrities and entertainment, focus on Him alone. I promise there’s more to life than money, partying, homosexuality and music. Hell is real, repent from sinning confess your sins and ask God to forgive you, I know He will if you’re sincere. Anyone who thinks the Name of Lord Jesus Christ is a joke, boldly mocks and scorns Him or takes pleasure in people who do is in for a big unpleasant surprise on judgement day IF they don’t repent and follow Lord Jesus Christ. Hell is very hot, people please repent! In the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen 🙏💪✝️💜❤️✝️!
      Idolatry such as, Islam, Catholicism, Sangomaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Santa Clausism, Confucianism, New Age, Science, Evolution, halloweenism, Harry Potterism, Politics, Donald Trumpism, Easter Bunnyism and other religions/faiths that are outside Biblical Christianity lead to hell! Don’t believe them, believe the Almighty God the Father of Lord Jesus Christ, who begot Him. Our Creator, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is mighty, He doesn’t need a woman to beget a son, He is God. I choose to put my faith in a God who can do anything and everything, a God who has unlimited and infinite power to beget!
      So, it’s time to confess that Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord and to believe that He died and rose from the grave after three days and you shall be saved if you only obey Him by praying, worshipping, praising, reading the Bible and living holy and righteously according to the Bible. You have to endure until the end, carry your cross daily and build your relationship with God by following Lord Jesus daily until the end. You must never renounce your faith in The Lord Jesus Christ, there’s hell awaiting those who reject/deny Lord Jesus Christ and those who continue living sinfully, even the Christians who don’t want to repent will face the same fate, so please repent beloved people, in Lord Jesus Christ’s mighty and precious Name, Amen.

    Impressive how fast and well you prepared those artichokes. I’ve seen pro chefs just completely screw them up.

    artichokes are a delicacy. they’re not supposed to be a whole meal or anything. cooks like artichokes because they’re only available at a certain time of year and preparing and cooking them is kind of a complex ritual. people are just so ignorant and opinionated for no reason. especially when it comes to food 🙄

    My grandma used to make me artichokes all the time. She added shreaded Parmesan to the artichokes, and also made a garlic butter sauce, but she added fresh herbs.
    So yummy! 💜

    😊 Thank you! We've always over-boiled them without cutting. As a kid, it was tough but delicious. 🌹 You just demonstrated THE BEST artichoke go-to recipe I've ever seen. 🌻 Beautiful, easy & tasty, can't wait.

    If you steam or boil them in shallow water whole for about 20 to 30 mins and then drizzle them in salted Garlic oil and rosemary, wrap them in foil and bake or bbq them they taste wonderful and you can eat damn near half the artichoke.

  • @cloudy978
    @cloudy978 2 года назад +8

    I used to eat a lot of them as a kid when I was at my Grandma's in France. She usually just boiled them and we'd have a Vinaigrette sauce where we would dip the leaves in kind using them as kind of a spoon. And then we would eat the artichoke "meat"on the leave and toss them aside until only the heart was left. We'd remove the hairy part and eat it. It's my least favorite part though plucking the leaves one by one and eating was really fun.

    For some reason the artichoke remind me of banana blossom. They both look impossible to eat.
