FUN FACT: When baking muffins or cupcakes, put rice at the bottom of the pan before laying down the paper muffin holder things. This prevents browning, greasing, and it being a bit hard on the bottom of the muffin!

I just made it (it was super easy) and after cooling off, the cookies were nice and crunchy, like a shortbread cookie. The sweetness is subtle so it doesn’t take away the fragrant milky flavor. If you make the cookies into small drops, you could have them as a snack 😃
I actually just made these and I can say that as long as you follow the recipe she shows you, they’re delicious! I would suggest converting the measurements into teaspoons and tablespoons to anyone who may want to try it:)
i did this today and i used tapioca starch. the result came out well and they taste very delicious!! but when i used tapioca starch the dough become very sticky and had to add more flour. when i cut them to rectangle , the shape won't stay so i had to make them in round shape .maybe i'll try using cornstarch later
I think this recipe is kinda synonymous to the Filipino Snack/Dessert "Puto Seko". It has clay like consistency as it melts in your mouth and coats in your tongue.
Ingredients in Tablespoons Butter 2tbsp Sugar 2 3/4 tbsp (adjustable, so it doesn‘t have to be perfect) Salt 1/2tsp (TEASPOON NOT TABLESPOON!) 14 1/3 tbsp Cake flour or 11 1/2 tbsp all purpose flour Milk 3 tbsp I haven‘t tried this yet but when I do, I‘ll edit my comment and correct it if something‘s wrong. Note that the tablespoon sizes are different depending on the country. For example american is smaller and canadian is bigger. Edit: made them yesterday and they pretty much taste like bread, a good snack. I made double the amount so I put a teaspoon of salt, but that was too much. So just put a pinch of salt if you‘re making the amount in the video if you don‘t want salty-sweet cookies. They looked just like in the video so expected them to be crunchy like in the video, but they were soft, dense and kinda hard to chew. I didn‘t use the tablespoon unit that I wrote down and forgot to check if it‘s right. Sorry!!
