I am never ready for episode 6. Those chest sobs from YooHyeon just breaks my heart. This is one of the emotional moments that binds Dreamcatcher and InSomnia. Once you've been here, you will defend Dreamcatcher forever. There is no turning back.
Ah! You went through the dreaded episode 6. Ya know, it's usually the funny goofy ones that carry the most pain. Daddy Kim would be proud of Yooheon and what she has accomplished and I think it was very courageous of her to share this part of her life.
I think Yoohyeon facing her loss like this, in the company of people she trusts, but at the same time also allowing it to become a beautiful tribute to her father, must've gone a long way towards healing her wounds. The therapist also seemed to handle everything in a quite delicate and caring manner. Thanks for putting yourself through this twice; first when filming the reaction, then once again when editing it. I promise that the remaining episodes are more light-hearted, and I think you'll enjoy them.
I just came across this episode recently as well (newer Insomnia here) and it was so meaningful and emotional especially since I lost my mom when I was in high school. That pain stays with you but it can also help to transform you and your life in many different ways. I became a therapist so I can help and offer people a safe space to experience and express their emotions and challenges. I think this episode was an honest and vulnerable experience for both Sua and Yoohyeon and I hope very helpful and healing as well. Great reaction, I always love your insight and genuineness in every reaction you do. Sending hugs! Happy Holidays!
The best way to move on after this is to follow YooHyeon's advice. What is past is in the past. Let's focus on success now and in the future, that being episode 7.
This episode is a very personal one for me. I lost my father when I was 14 years old so when I watched this epsiode I was a complete mess. Even though Ive lived more than half my life without a father there is this empty hole that never fully heals. I can imagine her pain and what she is going through in everyday life. Moments like these are what made me fall in love with this group and I am thankful that they exist so we can help heal together ❤️
I've only seen this episode maybe 3-4 times, always get teary eyed. Yoohyeon shared deep and personal life with us. Next two DC Mind episodes are hilarious so that will help wipe the tears off, unless you cry from laughter, that is. Hope you'll manage to squeeze in new Dreamcatcher mini comeback with My Christmas Sweet Love and Jazz Bar and Wonderland remakes before the break ;) If not, Merry Christmas and enjoy your time off
While I can't say I "enjoyed" watching this episode with you I will say that I appreciate the chance to cry over Dreamcatcher with you. I've seen this one quite a few times already and I don't think it is ever any easier to watch, but I do feel like it has definitely made me feel a bit closer to Dreamcatcher and helps us to realize that they are real people dealing with the same sorts of issues that the rest of us do, despite having to put on an idol persona most of the time. I think from the beginning I always felt that Dreamcatcher didn't hide their real personalities from us and that is one of the things that made me quickly fall in love with them, even though I previously never understood how people could become so emotionally invested in a group 😅 Anyway, thanks for fighting through it and luckily the rest of the episodes are much more fun! ❤
Oh, Yoohyeon's duality! She's a gorgeous, sexy, cheeky girl, but also gets embarrassed very easily. She's a cute happy puppy, but also a strong person and hard working professional. And when she sings she's an angel.
The most difficult episode for empaths.. at least she's surrounded by a wonderful group of people who can accompany her through the better and worse times 😥 On a lighter topic: Dreamcatcher just released a Christmas special and Jazz Bar just became even jazzier

This episode will never not make me cry.
I've only watched this episode maybe twice and bawled both times
After seeing this episode, whenever I see Yoohyeon smiling with her entire face, it's so precious to me 🥺
