Awesome Despite The Fact That Both Of Them Aren’t In Service But The Fact The R110A & R110B Exist Are Amazing Which is why I Want To Grab a Time Machine And Ride These Trains But Seriously The MTA Has To Put Them In Transit Museum.

I actually liked the 110b car model better than that the NTT cars that were based off its design.
The 67ft Length is what killed it for the Eastern Division lines,since it couldn't operate in 3 triple sets over there.
However, if those cars were married pairs, then it wouldn't have been a problem.
The interior of those cars are fantastic, and should have been built with that in mind.

It's very weird that bombardier messed up with the r110b but didnt mess up with the bombardier mbta red line. edit: now that I think about it, i think bombardier hates new York city becuase they made the r179 and had some problems.

They didn't mess up the 110A.
It was a demo.

I mean, they messed up other transit systems stuff, such as the TTC getting their orders on Flexity Outlook streetcars delayed by 10 years.

But they made the m7’s and m7a’s. And for the most part their very reliable and durable workhorse’s for the lirr and metro north.

I thought the R142 had problems in its early days? They were removed from service for several months in 2001

With out the R110A IRT and the R110B IND/BMT the R142,R142A,R143,R160,andR179s will have problems getting delivered
