I just had heart surgery, and as the nurses were preparing me, they asked if I had any music preferences. Without hesitation, I asked that they play Cinderella. While it was not this song, it was Don’t know what you got. They must have played more of the band as I was under, because when I woke up, the surgical team said “good choice in music. If I may... We all have our personal like for music. To me, this song along with many others should have been "more of an instrumental". Sometimes vocals can ruin a song for me. Maybe the words Long Cold Winter" thrown in a couple times......? The guitar work is killer on this one though

Since l ever heard this song stuck fix deeply in my concious memory strongly.

I saw Cinderella when I was 16 y.o. old on the Long Cold Winter tour. I told my parents I was going to stay with my cousin for the weekend and my best friend at the time and I drove 100 miles to see them. No one checked up on me to see if I actually had been where I said I was gonna be. I now have a 16 y.o. son and there's no way he could just disappear for the weekend and not be checked on. It was a different world and my parents were negligent in a few different ways.

this song is a tribute to my grandbabies who for some reason other than the right one my daughter chooses to keep them away from me until I've been punished. I won't put in a public forum why but a few months ago she should've been scolded and chastised about something I found out but instead I leave that up to her and her God to deal with. I'm through wasting precious time and energy and God knows where my heart is and that's where we as humans fail.
we judge by actions and think God does and we put Him on our level when we can't even fathom the love, the unconditional love we can't give that He does and looks only on the individuals heart. if only we could think about the love of a man hanging on a cross so that we could not have to be condemned and yet we condemn ourselves and others so much and overlook that Jesus, God in the Form of a man who cared so much suffered, bled and died so that you and I could break any bondage. man what a trip. it would be a long cold winter without the love and mercy of our Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ.
