- Lyrics:
I've been down
I've been cryin' in the dead of night
I've been tryin', I've been tryin'
To find the time to make it right
It's gonna be a long cold winter
Long cold winter without your love
I've been walkin'
I've been freezin'
Freezin' from a love I left behind
I've been searchin', I've been searchin'
Can't find my peace of mind
It's gonna be a long cold winter
Long cold winter without your love
I've been down ooo, I've been down yea
Baby baby baby ooo I'm freezin'
I'm freezin', I'm freezin', I'm cold
So so so cold
It's gonna be a long cold winter
Long cold winter without your love yea
One of the most underrated solos ever. Epic guitar work
Absolutely.
This definitely didn’t get the recognition that it deserved oh how my heart and soul is tied to this song🙏
Your right
В те времена вырастали на этой музыке.Ребята спасибо🤝🤘А у кого-то ещё всё впереди .🌹🤝🤝😘
A Hard Rock band reproducing a pure Blues! What a magic! Stunnig song!!!
This was an excellent blues-based band. If you get thru the hair shtick and really listen to the music, they were one of the best to come out of that era.
Joplin wanna be's
Just like great white was another with some great tunes
I agree completely. Although I did love their record company instructed glam days. They started as a blues band and I love the fact that they evolved into that. Cinderella, despite their Fame and popularity, to me, we're still very underrated
The hair/glam aspect was a product of the era. If they'd shown up a couple years later, they'd have been the Black Crowes. Only better.
Blues is a part of heavy metal. These guys are metal with a more obvious blues expression in some of their songs.
This song is just like a storm of feelings... Just beautiful !!
Today, I realized how excellent this song is.
Great singer, great feeling - love the guitar sound ✌️
Omg this takes me back! Love this and miss those days, would give anything to go back
Me too
@@laurasupko I guess really don't know what we got til it's gone
Me 3
Cigarette, long drive. Cassette with this on in the car. My girl with me. Priceless.
What a classic by Cinderella
super voice, nice blues
I listened to this album on my Walkman over and over again while walking to my first job in grade 8(dishwasher at a pizza restaurant). And it was during winter, this song still resonates with me because I was freezing while walking to and fro.
Cinderella put so much feeling
in each song!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍
The best music will never be replaced, these guys kicked ass
Needed to hear this tonight. Rest in peace, Jeff Labar.
Tom Keifer was such an underrated guitarist. This is him playing all those leads !! Crazy talented dude , he had the chops of a lead guitarist as well as being such a talented frontman and vocalist.
Damn...he b cryin 🥶😭
My son is half black n half Puerto Rican. He loves Rock n Roll. He played this song and I went crazy!!! It's so soulful! The guitar riffs are amazing especially in the beginning of the song! Super shout out to Cinderella! You have a new fan!
🎉❤🎉❤🎉😊❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Beautiful Song
@ursulaschlapbaurd definitely ch311
Che dire... è una di quelle canzoni che vorresti non finisse mai! Cinderella uno dei migliori gruppi rock blues al mondo!
When Rock meets Blues...just perfect...
Синдерелла это просто класс! 🤟 помню их выступление на московском международном фестивале мира в 1988 году. Срасибо!
в 89-м
Ukraina💙💛
Да я помню
Such a beautiful well written song full of emotion
one of the best blues song from Cinderella
№ 1 !!!
One of the best songs in general
...one of the best band ever....totally not glam 80s...but rock blues to the utter extreme...so underrated....
I liked these guys and White Lion also. Keifer, LaBar, and Vito were out of this world guitar players and they were so melodic. I loved the 80’s there was just something different about the guitars back then that’s missing from all the insane talented players we have now all over RUclips.
One of the most beautiful songs ever ❤️
I agree 👍🏻❤❤❤❤
This song is fantastic. They really got me into the blues soud with it
Thank you Alexa for sending me here. I originally asked for the Cinderella Soundtrack (1950s film) and it started playing this song. Thank you Alexa!! Best thing you have done for me!!
Imagine if this band came out today, and gave the music industry and its fans a much needed wakeup call.
I loved them since they were the opening band, went to every concert that came here, until they were the headliners❤️🌟Will ALWAYS love Tom Keifer❤️
2022 still jamming during them long cold winters 🥶
best cinderella song of all the albums
I always enjoyed Cinderella, They put out some great tunes, gave a heck of a show, and this is one of my blues favorites
The fret work on this song is outstanding!! My favorite Cinderella song!!
that guitar solo, so great
Tom Keifer, a wonderful singer Cinderella....
I am quite sure that he is.
Absolutely beautiful video you definitely did the song Justice Cinderella is definitely one of the best bands ever they don't get the credit they deserve
Damn this is a good song. Best concert I went to.
oh my pour soul, absolutly love this one
Our fav song from Cinderella!! This song feels so cold even if there're no images or videos!! Best solos!!

To all of our Veterans the men and women who fought for our freedom . Thank you .
Long Cold Winter was an Understatement Tom Keifer is Not just an Awesome Musician but the Best Weather Reporter Ever in this Still Winter of 2020 !!!
Every winter!!! ☮️❤️🎤🎸🎶🎶
Let's keep this light shining so bright the kids can keep playing in there yards. Just so you know it is working. Thank you
Tom is a class act, and a highly underrated artist
Wonderful blues rock what shake body and soul with your performance Tom Keifer a master piece of blues hard
Keifer is definitely the best of the 80's rockers.
1 of the Greatest blues rock song ever
love the 80' r&r,no other music can beat it.
Cinderella music started in the late 80s with their triple Multi-platinium debut album "Night Songs" in 1986. Cinderella second album "Lomg Cold Winter" in 1988 was another triple multi-platinium album. Cinderella #3 album was the multi-platinium album "Heartbreak Station" in 1992, The rest of this Cinderella Heartbreak Station tour was cancelled because Tom Keifer voice problems. Cinderella last album together was "Still Climbing" in 1994, great album too and powerful beautiful rock songs ballads as well but a very unappreciated album for some people can't really appreciate good music. I think this Cinderella last album was released in a wrong time when music was changed in every categories. Entertainment weekly Denice Carla Gordon T.V. shows and music critic in Facebook pages and RUclips channels
The 90s was a great era in rock music ad well specially in hard rock music, heavy metal, opera rock music metal music, rock n' roll music, alternative rock and solo rock artist like Ozzy Osborne, Metalica, Pink Floyd, Queen, Queenryche, Cinderella, Withesnake, L.A. Guns, faster Pussycats, Def Leppard, Depeche mode, REM, 3 doors down, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Nirvana and Kurt Cobain solo music, 3, Eye Blind, matchbox 20, Green day, Radiohead, The Ramones, weezer, Joan Jett and other great rock bands too still playing in the 90's decade in music.
Tomさまの唇がすごく色っぽい!けどそこから出てくる声も、
そしてギターの音色もとても官能的です♪
omg make me fly evey time listining to this flood of music
Tom's one of the best, yet underrated guitarists of his era. Yes, this song is like another "Since I've Been Loving You" as people say, but SO MANY other blues are long and slow and flow like this. He had his talent with or w/out any other bands, other than small influences (as EVERY band has had).
I’m with you on the underrated thing. I just heard this song a couple months ago. Not so easy to play bad ass blues, as he does in this song. I was a fan of their stuff back when it wasn’t cool to like these guys. I was always blown away at the fact that the singer was the lead guitarist. Always had respect when I saw that….shit has it been 30 or so years?
Just perfect....
still love it! Great song..and Album too!!
God I love this song!
Too cool!
I have been down and crying 😭 itss definitely going to be a long cold winter ☃️❄️😪❤
holy shit i feel old. one bad ass jam right here.
this is a great song tom has great voice
Tom Keifer has the most incredible voice of all time. This song proves it. Hands down.
TOM DON'T WORRY ABOUT HER!! I'LL BE WITH YOU THROUGH THE LONG COLD WINTER!!!! DON'T CRY NO MORE!!!
His voice tho 🔥🔥🔥😭❤️
There is so much passion in this song. I know. It got me laid.
Wonderful song.... 🎧🎶🎧
Totally forgot about this one...it's a good one
Melts your heart.
I love this song
This song got me laid back in 1990.
Yes mate!Good one was it?
1988/89
Still listening in 2020 😊👍

simply the best
Such Perfect song ✊🏼!!
Cinderella. Rocks says Peter Boxall
Перше, що смішно
Yes this band speaks to me a lot
Love this video...good work!and the song..ohhhh the song...20 years without a new cinderella record...such a shame!
2013 Album -> The Way Life Goes
Bought at day one!Good record, but Cinderella is something better ;)
The guitar sound is on par with David Gilmour and Mark Knopfler. Just a stellar band of their time. One of the first bands I saw live in the early ‘90’s. 🤟
love this tune
you kiddin? this is rockin' BLUES!!!!!!
Great guitar work
First Concert...Opened For David Lee Roth. Therefore First Band I Saw Live. Not Bad. Have changed my wives, have changed my life, Never will I Change my Music.
Such a lovely song!!!
Saw them live on this tour, supported by Slaughter,if his voice hadn,t imploded soon after this ,could have gone on to greater success. They were never frightened to change styles on their albums.,
Офигенный блюз!!!
I'm feeling this song right now. Because we're getting more in the midwest ❄. 😥 😔
Awesome Guitar!!!!!
May the guitarist jeff rest in peace😭
Blues rock played by Keifer!!!
Yes my favorite band I’m also criminally underrated
One of my favorite riffs from Tom!!!!!!!!
Reminds me of my ex-wife 24 years together I never wanted for things to turn out the way they did. I still love Ann Marie
The only track I like by a hair band and that's because it's the blues...🎶💯
This song needed to go on for like 10:00 minutes...I've always felt like Tom Keifer had much more to "say" in this blues anthem, especially with his Les Paul solos...as it is though, I'd rank it just under Texas Flood of Stevie Ray Vaughn fame...
The tune for Europe's winter 2022
Cinderella were FAR superior to B*n J**i, Warrant,Ratt,Poison etc. But it never seemed to happen for them.It was a great shame.
WAY...WAY...WAY.... BETTER THAN ALL THOSE BANDS......B.J. (HE;S A BITCH )
Sure . All true
we're here 30+ years later still listening to them. they did some big tours. they hit the charts a couple of times. there are more bands than we can ever count or know who wish they got at least that level of recognition or fame.
although I do agree. they were better than the ones you listed. the problem is they were lumped in with those guys to begin with.
edit: I'll explain the last part and what I meant a little. they were not and were never an L.A glam band. They might have dressed like one but that's not the right genre to throw them in with. They were a blues heavy rock type band from Philly.
Wanted dead or Alive, Living on a prayer, You give love a bad name, Lay your hands on me, Born to be my baby, Blood on blood, I'll be there for you, I believe, Dry county, Bed of roses, In these arms, Hey god, These days, My guitar lies bleeding in my arms, It's hard letting you go, In & out of love, Always (I can keep out of the list It's my life and other amazing songs from the first JBJ and Richie Sambora's solo albums).
Come on, BJ at the same level with Warrant, Ratt, Poison and Cinderella? Even if I love Long Cold Winter and Heartbreak station albums
Nah... Ratt was bomb.
OH THE MEMORIES
I have to remember to learn that solo.
Cozy Powell on drums and a man who knew how to play the blues on the skins!
Always rated Cinderella way ahead of motley crue and the like.
Broken up with and the first snow just hit. Most appropriate song I can think of.
Oh those bloody solos and shrieks...
Heavy man, just Heavy........
Love it
