What’s even crazier about Ozzy’s loss is that Adam later admitted the main reason he voted for Yul in the end was because he and Yul made a deal that if Yul kept Adam in the game longer than Penner, Adam would vote for him at FTC. Yul kept his end of the deal, so Adam did too. Adam’s vote ended up being the deciding vote that gave Yul the win over Ozzy. I’m not sure if Adam ever said that he otherwise would’ve voted for Ozzy, but it’s crazy to think that a single mid-merge deal that Ozzy had no control over may have cost him the game. Ozzy and Yul are my top two favorite players of all time and Yul deserved to win, but Ozzy doesn’t get enough credit for his performance in Cook Islands and it hurts that because he lost by one vote to Yul, arguably one of the greatest winners ever, he’s totally overlooked most of the time

We actually kind of expected it. Aubry was a great competitor and I understand people expecting her to win, but I also don’t get why it was so baffling to people that Michele won. I don’t even think Michele got a bad edit like people claim. Confessionals checked in on Michele a lot and showed that she had a good understanding of where she was at in the game. Yul vs Ozzy is one of the all time great final twos (sorry Becky) in history. Each of them played their own game about as well as they possibly could have that season. Honorable mention to Hannah Shapiro of MvGX here, for me. She made a lot of good points at FTC about the work she put in to flipping Ken, and her role in getting David voted out. Honestly, it's a good argument, and she puts in a lot of effort to make sure the jury knows it. Unfortunately for her, I think some visible emotional breakdowns coupled with the narrative of "Adam vs. David" already being written in the minds of the jury (thus giving Adam the credit when David was voted off, despite Hannah playing at least as much, if not more of, a part in that) tanked her chances, regardless of her arguments. That and Adam bringing up his mom. Like Jeremy bringing up his child on "Cambodia", it's just hard to compete with that.

    • @bigbuffguy9589
      @bigbuffguy9589 5 месяцев назад +5

I disagree. I thought Hannah's Final Tribal Council was not good, as she kept interrupting Adam and annoying the jury. She also got caught in an inaccuracy when she claimed that she was never on the wrong side of any vote (Michelle quickly pointed out the Michaela vote, which Hannah was on the wrong side of due to Jay blindsiding both). Finally, she tried to take credit for moves that other players like Adam and David were actually responsible for making.

Parvati played a complete game, a masterful game, where she was targeted day 1. She was robbed by a bitter jury plain and simple.
Ozzy has such a strong case too, but unlike Parv, he had an actual real qualified heavyweight finalist to compete for votes with in Yul. Yul had played a masterful game, and his strategic game was weighed more heavilly than Ozzys physical game in the eyes of the jury. It's odd people think Aubry had a great 39 day game and are shocked she lost. Her indecision at the Peter boot caused Scot, Julia, and Jason by extension to lose faith with her, the way she burned Debbie cut so deep it'd take a Chris D miracle to fix it, and Michele removing Neal really hurt her already shaky Jury support. I concede I don't know what Cydney's deal was though.

Michelle should have shot Aubry a quizzical look as soon as Aubry started talking, maybe given Cydney a quick “Can you believe this?” bit of eye contact, and filled the moment’s pause after “Can I ask a question?” with something like “Sure. If you want to drop out and go join the jury.”
But Michelle’s bad move does not make for Aubry’s good move.

    Thoughts on H v V Season Niru
Rupert & Courtney- 💯 Voting Sandra going 2nto FTC.
Danielle- 💯 Voting Parvati going 2nto FTC.
Coach- Was swayed by Parv’s Opening Speech about Russel being her Dragon Pet.
Colby- took the moral high road even after Parv explained her deft Double Idol Play Strategy.
    Jerri- Parv won her vote.
J.T- Sandra swayed his vote…. But years later J.T said to Parv…. Emotions were high. He regrets not respecting Parv’s game more.
Candice-Out To Burn Parvati into HELL for being Russel’s “battered wife” in the game…. Candice is voting Sandra 💯
Amanda- throws an easy question to Sandra why should Sandra win over Russel & Parv 😶
Amanda said years later that Parv “might” have called Amanda “a name” during the Season 20 game when merged…. And she also felt betrayed by her….. Parvati said she understood Amanda’s decision but….Amanda looked lame making it lol…. So, there ya have it. Lol
Both ladies are good, and Russel played a ruthless game too getting to the end on this all stars season.

Because of that, he had a newfound respect and appreciation for Sandra's game because she's the master of that strategy.

Its ultimately up to individual votes to determine the winner. Amanda and Candice really only gave Sandra their votes out of spite and pettiness.
Amanda flat out said she didn’t want to see Parvati win. She probably held some jealousy and resentment over Micronesia. And she checked out after she was voted out.
Candice was also jealous because she tried and failed to go to the end with the villains alliance.

Yet she voted fucking Julie cuz she couldn’t “trust Jake” even tho he tried to save her ass. You’d think that by now most Survivors would accept that everyone has their own agenda and that everyone is withholding their true intentions from everyone. Roundabout questioning designed to fool an opponent into tipping his or her hand is fair, but actually expecting anyone to be forthcoming is just silly. But people still ask, players lie to them and then feelings get hurt unnecessarily. Parvati played a better game imo, since Sandra didn’t do any big plays, shouldn’t have gained any respect from the jury, and was brought to the end because she did nothing all game, however a bitter jury voted for Sandra. She played better ig back then cuz the heroes preferred people who were nicer, but Parvati definitely did better.

@@onepieceontop133 i understand that point of view. But Sandra played it wisley because she knew which attributes they wanna see in a player. So Sandra played exactly like that and Parvati was most of the game just ruthless.

She doesn’t fit the point of this video, but Sugar could have easily won over bob if she had tweaked her FTC performance just a bit. Almost seamed like she was intentionally giving bad answers, and turning the jury against her. She played a great game, or at least when it comes to Gabon.

There are winners who have screwed over the jury and still won. Sugar didn’t exactly have strong competition in Susie and Bob, but if she owned up to her game and tried to be apologetic with conviction, she might have had a better chance. Hard to say for sure who she would have won over, but, I think she would have stood a chance. Biggest problem is she might not have cared much about winning.

@@Nate9-9 The winners who have done so were sitting next to finalists who were obviously ridiculous winner choices, articulated their dominant games in ways that were both persuasive and entertaining, could and did convincingly claim that they’d done nothing out of personal animosity, and had juries that wanted to reward the best game, or at least were open to being convinced that’s what they should do. Sugar had none of those things going for her.

That argument was settled years ago. The winner deserves to win because the jury says they do. Parvati antagonized and mocked the heroes at every turn, and they didn't respect her attachment to Russell. Rupert shook his said and said "Just terrible."
