Factory resetting your device DOES NOT delete ALL your data. There are recovery tools that allows anyone to get some (not all) your personal data off the device after it has been factory reset. There's RUclips videos out there that explain how and why it's possible.

Yes, we agree with the last poster, to add more to that, if your phone is hacked even with the recovery tool disabled, there's still more to do. When your phone is totally reset it acts like it is.

Yo, I was like " wait wuhh? It's 2022, and if you don't know how to factory reset a cell phone you literally shouldn't have one". This video literally should have been 30 seconds long at most. Here, watch. If you want to reset your phone back up your phone, by selecting back up then go to factory reset and press factory reset, done. Please don't forget that there are some elderly people that use smartphones and dont know everything about technology. Things like this are obvious for every young person , but unfortunately not for me , so this video was very helpful because I totally had no clue how to go about it.I think that you tube is excellent place to find a lot of info on any subject. this does nothing to scrub the data and it is almost completely recoverable. not particularly helpful whether you are selling a phone or sending one back after swapping on an insurance claim.
